I... don't really know why I did this, except that I apparently have too much time on my hands. And I thought, with various newcomers joining the game, this might help make a little sense out of where we are at the moment. (Or it might just be cause for even more confusion.)
So here's my (ongoing) roundup of all the threads relating to the current plot. I've undoubtedly forgotten or buggered up some things (I know I haven't gotten around to linking some of today's threads), for which I apologise in advance - feel free to let me know if you see something I've missed. :)

Eris reunites with Ares and a plot is born. Eris proposes they orchestrate a fight: Ares will start insulting the new drug gods (with whom he has already had one violent encounter) and Eris will pretend to side with them, dividing the Greek pantheon and sending them into war with the New Gods.
She seeks another ally in Ra, and seems to find one. They plan for Ra to start getting rid of Marijuana's buyers - convincing, threatening, killing - to erode his power base. If confronted, Ra is to say he agrees with Ares that the young gods are getting too uppity.
But Ares throws a spanner in the works by backing down from Eris's plan and resolving his differences with the drug gods peacefully. He's found Aphrodite in the interim and doesn't particularly want to set a host of immortals against him. Mortal conflicts are more his thing. He meets with Marijuana, makes nice and fills him in on Eris's agenda. After the meeting, Marijuana returns to LSD, troubled.
It's a good move on Eris' part because Ra, privately, seems less enthusiastic about her plans. He meets with Anubis and Bast and fills them in on his talk with Eris. The three conclude that it's a Greek issue and they have no cause to get involved.
Eris is still busy starting fires. She terrorises some unfortunate runaways just outside Marijuana's territory and instructs the petrified survivor to tell his friends that Ra was responsible. She's confronted by Anubis and Ra, however, who are less than impressed. Things turn violent, and Eris takes a beating.
But by now, larger things are afoot. Guns has wasted no time in getting to work. He hires some less-than-reputable individuals to ransack libraries and universities, stealing and destroying books related to Greek mythology, wiping hard drives and assassinating various scholars in the field. Anything pertaining to the name 'Ares' is targeted - in fact, most of the Greek gods are, with the exception of Eris and a few other minor deities so as not to arouse suspicion.
Zeus calls a meeting of the Greek pantheon to discuss the crisis. Eris, however, continues to feign weakness and Ares goes to her instead. He takes her back to his apartment and she begs him to stay with her rather than go to the meeting. Ares agrees, but Zeus arrives and pressures the two of them to come. Ares storms out on them, and once he's gone Eris shows her true colours, killing two of Zeus's security guards before disappearing.
That night, the Greeks meet in Zeus' home. The Fates counsel Zeus to have his people guard libraries, texts and people that might be targeted, and to reach out to the computer-related New Gods for their help in restoring the digital data that's been lost. Ares also shows, very much worse for wear by now, along with a host of other familiar faces in various degrees of dishevelment. Zeus addresses the assembled gods and asks for volunteers to guard their sources of worship. Ares, despite his injuries, walks out and Athena, worried that he might go to Eris, sends Psyche after him. Ares leaves, accompanied by Phobos.
After the meeting at Zeus', Jord and Adonis meet in Central Park and she offers him shelter.
In a New York church, Death prays for the Greeks and encounters Guns, with whom he is less than pleased - particularly when he learns of Guns' impending marriage to the Republican Party.
Marijuana comes good on his promise to Zeus and asks Twitter to help by flooding the internet with Greek-related material, confusing and pissing off her mortal boyfriend in the process. But Zeus has got another favour to ask. He wants to create a disturbance in Columbia, targeting guerilla units whose loss would certainly affect Guns - but also the drug trade and through it, Marijuana. Mari assents, in exchange for a promise of protection for his family.
Brad, Twitter's oblivious mortal boyfriend, is still pissed at being abandoned for Marijuana. While fuming in Central Park, he meets Eris. She is extremely tickled to learn who the mortal is dating and fills a disbelieving Brad in on his girlfriend's divinity.
Jord brings Zeus' plan to destabilise Guns into fruition, creating a massive earthquake in Columbia that decimates the country's oldest guerilla army and takes hundreds of thousands of dollars of firearms and weaponry with it. Seeing a news report of the earthquake, Ecstasy rushes to check on Marijuana, who is sickened and horrified by the destruction and angry at Zeus for using him. He vows only to trust his family from now on. Jord, meanwhile, is soaking in the power from the earthquake, but Adonis is upset. Elsewhere, Lethe's decline continues.
Eris declares a peace offering, promising old school sacrifices for anybody who comes over to her side. But this time, she has pushed Ares too far. He crashes a music concert and turns it into a massacre ground, soaking in power from the bloodshed - then, gathering every single document he can find relating to the Trojan War and Eris, he burns the place to the ground. A couple of hours later, slowly weakening once more as his history is burned away, Ares is beginning to regret what he's done. As he watches the flames, he is discovered by his sons, who take him to Zeus' manor to recover.
Phobos is hurt in the backlash from his father's madness (though it doesn't stop him from getting into a fight with Orpheus and Hermaphroditus), as is Lethe. But Eris is the worst hit. She no longer has any control over her powers, and in the ruins of a Best Buy mother, daughter and granddaughter meet.
Gathering what strength she can, Athena meets with Guns and Wrath, who attempt to make Azazel their scapegoat. Athena doesn't buy it.
Meanwhile Hera, who was also hit hard by the attacks on the Greeks, finally awakens.
By this point, Zeus has had enough. He throws a tantrum and Atropos gives him an earful, as do several others. Concluding that the Greeks may need a helpful push to set their fate in motion, Atropos calls a second meeting, which is held in the Moirae's apartment later that night. Hades uses the opportunity to nominate himself as Zeus' replacement, and the idea immediately gains support. The Moirae counsel caution, reminding everybody of his second abduction and rape of Persephone last year, but Athena, Momus and Hera are the only vocal dissenters. Hades reveals Marijuana's support for him, and as a show of his impartiality swears that he will relinquish his claim on Persephone (although he privately has no intention of upholding the latter). Finding themselves outnumbered, Athena and her supporters have no choice but to back down - at least until the other crisis is resolved.
Adonis leaves the meeting elated by Hades' promise to free Persephone, and gives Jord the news. She immediately contacts Hades to discuss an alliance, and the two organise a meeting. Jord agrees to aid Hades in exchange for the new king permanently ending Aphrodite and Persephone's claims on Adonis. She returns home to deliver the good news.
After winning the throne, Hades asks for Marijuana's help in rewriting the literature on Greek mythology, painting Hades rather than Zeus as the king. He also attempts to have Persephone portrayed as his willing wife, but Marijuana refuses on this point.
Despite being furious at Hades for his treason, Athena offers him her advice, while privately seeking the wisdom of the Fates. She tells Hades about her meeting with Guns and Wrath and he tells her to talk to Death to discover whether Azazel is in league with them. She later consults with Hera, Death and Marijuana. Death agrees to find out who of his pantheon is working with Guns on the condition that the Greeks agree not to kill any more mortals.
Hades' treason doesn't sit well with the Moirae either, and they're troubled by his attempts to rewrite the Greek mythos. Nevertheless, Lachesis offers him their counsel. Hera argues with Hades but agrees to support him for the duration of the current crisis, and Hades asks her assistance in replacing the literature that was destroyed.
Momus decides to bugger off back to New Orleans and, guessing that Hades isn't likely to be so gentle as Zeus with Eris, grudgingly offers his sister a warning.
After getting caught up with everything that's gone down in his absence, Ares posts another blog entry. Nyx warns him to stay away from her family and Deimos is still hurt by his father's attempted kamikaze.
Wrath, meanwhile, is getting impatient. She and Guns discuss Hades' coup and plan an attack on Athena by sending mercenaries to blow a few columns off the Parthenon in Athens.
Athena is still disappointed in her fellow Greeks. She asks Media for her help in preserving the Greek myths in their original form, to prevent Hades' revisionist history from becoming the accepted story.
The following morning, Hera checks in on Ares and attempts to reconcile with her son. Lethe, her memory almost entirely gone, goes wandering and meets her uncle Morpheus.
In the early hours of the morning, Guns orchestrates an attack on Athens. At the same time, Wrath strikes several New York universities. With her city burning, Athena is in agony - but more powerful than ever, as her name is repeated over and over again in every news broadcast, and on the lips of shocked Athenians.
Marijuana again offers Hades and Athena his assistances, and volunteers to teach mortals about the histories of the Greeks who have been most weakened. With the older drug gods returning to the city, he asks his siblings whether they want him to remain their de facto leader - the response is a unanimous yes.
Jord stages a retaliatory strike against Guns, and munitions plants and military factories across the country take a beating under freak weather conditions.
Guns, despite not knowing who has attacked him, has some threatening words for the perpetrator. He tells Athena that he would be willing to negotiate terms for the Greeks' surrender, but at the same time orders Wrath to kill one of the more powerful Greeks before the negotiation takes place. Discovering Ares in a church, Wrath fulfills this job with her usual efficiency and leaves the body with a little message for Athena. After doing the deed, however, she is struck by the overwhelming sensation of being watched, and realises her mistake in killing an immortal in a house of God. She flees, and Ares is left to be discovered by Phobos.
Jord raises the possibility of a truce with Hades, and fills both him and Athena in on a weakness that could be exploited in Guns: his relationship with the Republican Party.
With Ares dead, Eris (still trapped in snake form) escapes from his apartment and takes advantage of Baldr's goodwill. He lends her the power to create a new body for herself, and she introduces herself to him as Elpis, the personification of hope. Later, he reunites with Jord, who becomes suspicious when she learns of his meeting with "Elpis". She asks the Greeks and learns that the real Elpis is not in the city. Athena immediately suspects Eris, who has not been seen since Ares "dealt" with her.
Phobos visits Athena with news of his father's death - and questions.
Wrath is still nervous about having spilled blood on holy ground. But it's Athena who catches up with her first, exacting her revenge by turning Wrath into a duck. It takes Wrath hours to reform and when she does, she's livid. Emerging weakened and in search of revenge, knowing only that her attacker was Greek, she almost immediately encounters a disoriented Lethe... to the poor river-goddess' misfortune. Lethe is killed (and her body discovered by Marijuana), and her spirit returns to her Underworld river, where she is met by the Titaness Mnemosyne and led to the pool of the same name, to have her mind restored by the waters of memory.
Athena meets with Guns to discuss terms of "surrender", but Guns' only condition is that they give him the name and license to exact revenge upon whoever attacked him. Athena won't betray Jord, and simply says that it was not the act of a Greek, while pointing out the increased Christian presence in town. Guns agrees to end the hostilities, and Athena proposes a formal treaty.
On Valentine's Day, Eros throws a lavish birthday party for himself. And there is much rejoicing. Hades brings along his slightly overwhelmed mortal wife, who meets Hera and Athena. Deimos is still out of it. National Security shows up in the hope of figuring out the recent series of strange events in New York.
Orpheus performs at Hermaphroditus' club, singing both old songs and new about the Greek gods to inspire belief among the mortals there and strengthen the pantheon. Morpheus works his own magic in the crowd. Orpheus reunites with his mother and Athena with Mnemosyne.
Having gathered enough strength, Lethe returns to the mortal plane, resurfacing in Central Park where she forms a new body for herself. She is observed, then assisted by Kali.
Ares visits Hera. Shockingly, they're actually trying to get along.
Wrath gets her revenge with a bloodbath, targeting the police station in Michael's precinct as well as anger management, stress and mental health clinics in a move designed to empower her. She is later contacted by Eris, who tells Wrath that it was Athena who turned her into a duck. Out for revenge, Eris tells Wrath to kill some Christians and blame it on the Greeks, with the object of setting Heaven against the Greek pantheon. She suggests Wrath work with the Phonoi to bring it about.
Wrath discusses the ceasefire with Guns and the two ponder over who could have attacked him. Wrath promises to compile a list of nature deities from each pantheon who may have been capable. She also gets in contact with the Phonoi and arranges a meeting.
Athena announces the success of her negotiations with Guns, however Jord is angry with Athena admitting to him that the attacks were not of Greek origin, which she believes inevitably lead Guns to suspect her. For the first time, Hades informs Athena of his plans to restore the Greek pantheon's power by putting themselves forward as a true religion and converting mortals to the worship of a "New Hellenism".
Hades reveals his plans, announcing the release of a book that will rewrite the mythos, framing him - and not Zeus - as king. Atropos cautions him once more, and warns that if his actions compromise the Loom, the Fates will not sit on the sidelines.
Athena is worried, to say the least. She speaks to Atropos, from whom she learns of a possible challenger to Hades' power - Cronus. She also talks with Psyche, who - as the goddess of the soul - may have some power to combat Wrath.
Ares is afraid that Hades' rewriting of the mythos - which will frame him as a son of Hades and not Zeus - will cause him to forget his parents. He attempts to make peace with Hera, in his wayand oh my god did they just have a civil conversation?
Understandably confused by the clusterfuck she's walked in on, Mnemosyne asks her pantheon for answers and is less than happy to hear of Hades' plans. Atropos invites her over for the drink she's sure Mnemosyne will need when she hears the extent of it all, and Mnemosyne drops by the Fates' store.
Hades' plans are already affecting the mortal world, albeit in small ways. Annika is puzzled by the "new mythos" that's flooding the internet.
Death offers Athena a break from the city and she visits his ranch in Kentucky. Unfortunately, the news she has for him isn't good. He is angry and troubled to learn of Hades' plans to rewrite the mythos and proselytise - and not just for his own sake. His Lord has been talking about eliminating the other pantheons for thousands of years. If Hades starts preaching his "New Hellenism", Death fears Heaven may finally act.
Athena makes preparations. She seeks Media's help in burying the release of Hades' book and Nuclear Power's in getting Guns to back down from his quest for revenge (which he does). She asks the Fates to be responsible for the counting of the votes in the senate elections, as well as checking in on Lilly.
Anticipating attacks on Hades' new mythos, Marijuana makes arrangements to protect those websites that contain the revised mythology</a> from hackers.
Athena reveals her nature to a number of graduate students she has been sheltering, who attempt to counter Hades' revisionism with papers, web pages, even comic strips depicting the true mythos. However, Hades has been shrewd. When Friday comes, the book has been buried in the media - but his true plans are in motion. A number of respected academics set out for Greece on a curiously well-funded expedition to investigate The New Hellenism's claims and discover deliberately planted "ancient" manuscripts that relate Hades' version of events.
As he recovers, Marijuana rallies the troops. He asks his family to hold off their attacks on the Phonoi until they can make a coordinated strike against them.
A mere night after attacking Marijuana, the Phonoi go after the next names on their hit list: the Moirae. The Fates fight them to a stand-off and the Phonoi are forced to flee, but not before doing some damage (not to mention earning a massive grudge).
Lethe is horribly conflicted about standing against her mother. Phobos doesn't help matters when, seeking escape from the Greek clusterfuck, he asks her to take his memories.
LSD, still stinging from his recent conversation with Marijuana, goes out clubbing and meets Ares... who is confused to find the young drug god remembers nothing of their last, violent encounter.
Meanwhile, Eris has been dealt with. Her powers bound by her parents' ancient magic, stripped of everything except the power to make apples (and not even the fun, poison kind), she is bound to Marijuana for a term, to work for him in penance for her acts against the drug gods. Erebos informs the family of what has been done, and warns them against following in Eris' footsteps. Marijuana keeps her busy and Eris quickly learns that being just shy of mortal... well, it sucks.
Hades pays Marijuana handsomely for sexual favours from MJ's mortal, Dave. Eris witnesses the transaction and cries foul, but nobody believes her and Marijuana punishes her harshly for her troubles. Later, he laments these accusations and warns the Greeks against attacking his family on the basis of Eris' "lies". Atropos' ire is drawn because of Hades' impulsive decision to extend some healing power over Dave, thus lengthening the man's life-thread by a few months. However, MJ denies any involvement, and Atropos reluctantly accepts his oath on the Organic. It's a false oath, of course, and protecting the lie requires some sacrifice.
Later, Aphrodite swings back into town and she and Hades exchange some nasty words, which she then reveals to Ares. A seething Ares crashes into Hades' home, terrorising his mortal wife and son until Hades arrived, enraged, and attacks his nephew. However, he abruptly breaks off his attack when he realises that Lily has taken their son and fled. Shattered, he throws away the crown and leaves town to attempt to pick up the pieces of his mortal life.
