You have the resolution to shoulder everything on your cold back
Who: Pride (_superbia_) & Wrath (irascibility)
What: A talk of sorts - maybe. Probably.
Where: Hell
When: Wednesday night
Warnings: None for now.
Pride's stirring up tempers downstairs and Wrath's current status as the only not-rogue Sin made this trip to the old fiery pits of Hell considerably less troublesome than the previous ones. The first thing that hit him when his foot touched solid ground was the new quality of tension in the air.
That Hell wasn't a place where care bears ran wild was no big secret. Somebody was always out trying to one-up another, either in order to reach a higher step on the rotten ladder or to defend the one they occupied. Regular unhealthy ambition and paranoia paired with a healthy dose of violence was business as usual in Hell.
Now, however, a certain eagerness and desire to reach the very top had entered the equation.
Slow-boiling, simmering, almost ready to spill over...
Interesting.
Not watching where he was stepping and ignoring the varying texture of the ground under his feet, Wrath wandered around at a leisurely pace and the deeper he went into the bowels of demon land, the wider his grin stretched. Normally, he didn't care about conflicts brewing down here because his target group was made up of living breathing mortals. Causing trouble in Hell was not in his job description but nowhere did it say he wasn't allowed to picture it in his head. And right here, right now he couldn't help thinking that one well-placed prick was all it would take to make Hell choke on all the filth it'd vomit.
Sombody seemed to have managed to really piss his brother off.
Approaching Pride from the left, Wrath came to a halt right next to him.
"Fancy meetin' ye here," he said, casually lighting a cigarette. "Ye don't happen to have seen a pair of knickers lyin' around, have ye? Purple with small black lacy things attached?"
