2:26 am [emilie_burns]	Two Ed/Riza fics This place is an awesome idea, so I figured I'd share two older Ed/Riza fics I'm especially proud of, the first being one that could get me TOSed, since it makes references to a sexual and not exactly consensual encounter between a minor and two adults. They are both NC-17 and therefore flocked, per site rules, but on the bright side, only an official DMCA notice or an official court order will prompt IJ owner to remove the work in question. The links go to an asylum with open membership, so access isn't terribly difficult. --- Title: A Kind of Pale Jewel Pairing: Ed/Riza, with Ed and Al gen interaction on the side Genre: Angst, Romance, Het Smut Rating: NC-17 Warnings: Based entirely off the premise of "Angelus" by Fantasy Wind, minus the doujinshi's official ending. I couldn't really salvage Roy's characterization, unfortunately, so I worked around any direct inclusion of him at all. There's mentions of drugs and non-violent rape/extreme duress and manipulation for sex, and minor/adult sex and m/f/m threesome. Word Count: 12,603 Summary: With a restored Al, Ed returns to Central for a State Alchemist reevaluation, and while there, he chooses to seek absolution and make right something that went horribly wrong during another such visit years ago. Teaser: He was Edward Elric, Fullmetal Alchemist. The alchemist for the people and the dog of the military who didn't walk to the military's drum. He was known all over Amestris for helping people, helping strangers, helping make things better and this was something else he helped cause and was his responsibility and couldn't she please see that he needed to help someone, that he needed to help her and make it better and protect her because he helped so many and it was time to help people who actually had an impact on his life now that Al was fixed and he could protect her? chaotic_library: A Kind of Pale Jewel *** Title: Coming Back to Life Pairing: Ed/Riza, hints of Roy/Riza and Roy/Ed Genre: Angst, Het Smut Rating: NC-17 Warnings: Major character death off-screen. Word Count: 9014 Summary: In the aftermath of a funeral, Ed and Riza find a common ground to make up for the sudden lack of gravity. Teaser: It was cold. A bitter sort of chill that the wind pushed down her coat collar and around her neck to settle into her bones. Cold and stiff, like the dead. The truth of the matter is that I and many others have recently come to InsaneJournal from LiveJournal -- a place where I had formerly found a lot of support for my fandom activities. There I built a lot of memories, made a lot of connections, and my fics (and art) got a lot of exposure. But then 6A showed up and it all went to hell. So what happened to all that fic and art and discussion that was once hosted on Livejournal that is no longer welcome there, or whose authors and creators no longer feel comfortable keeping it posted there? Where can it go? Well, it can go here! And maybe fandom here can become the thriving vital place that fandom on Livejournal once was. So bring me your old-fic, your art from last year, stuff you had to move because you don't want to be TOSed off of live journal. Stuff you just want a place to post. I'm not gonna judge on quality. I'm not going to judge on taste. I'm interesting in QUANTITY and VARIETY. (And don't forget to read the Community Rules dudes). It may not be new, but it's new to us. Bring it on. (Comment on this)
