1. Battlescars

Victis Honor day is coming up again already. I know it can be a difficult time of year. It is for me. I just wanted to remind people that Battlescars runs every Sunday in the Den, we start at 11. For anyone who doesn't know, we're a group for anyone who was in any way affected by the war. You don't have to have been at the battle itself, and it doesn't matter what side you were fighting for or against, or if you were on any side at all. You do have to sign a confidentiality agreement before you come in to confirm you won't reveal anything that's said at a meeting.

You don't have to talk, if you don't want to. You don't have to agree to come more than once. Really, we're as a low pressure as I know how to make things, so please come if you think it would be useful to you. If you've got any questions, I'm the guy to ask.

2. Veterans

For the Battlescars meeting on the 3rd I wanted to do something a bit different - so I'm asking for volunteers to write something down. Anything about the war - what you remember, how you cope with the memories. Just... anything you want to bring up or say. You can do it anonymously or not. If you're happy to read your own statement you can bring it with you, if not, send it to me.

I'd also really like some words from people who fought in the first wizarding war. On either side. If you know anyone who might be willing, I'd appreciate it if you'd ask them. I probably won't read everything I receive on Sunday, but I'll try to pick a representative selection.
