Hello!
I'm Mila, and I play Annie Wagner (this journal) at we_coexist.
She's a cyberpath, capable of communicating with machines and getting them to do what she wants (Marvel - Doom 2099). The game itself is very long running with a group of talented and friendly writers who are very open to new things and putting their characters in harm's way for the fun of it.
I've been watching a show called Alphas, and there's a character there that I really think she'd have a great rapport with. His name is Gary.
From the Wikipedia on the show: Gary is a young man with autism who lives with his mother and is socially functional to a degree. He has the "technopathy" ability to view and interact with wireless communication signals out of thin air and process information as fast as any computer. The signals can only be seen by him, which he can move around by touching them.
I think it'd be really great to team the two up. Currently, she's working for Tony Stark, in his R&D department. Annie doesn't know many other mutants, she's just gotten to know a couple within the game. Gary isn't a mutant, of course, but the general idea of it is there.
As an added bonus for Gary, there's also a Fred Burkle in the game, who I think would also have a lot of interest in what he can do, and could perhaps act in a similar (though not psychiatric) manner as Dr Rosen does in the show.
