Who: Daphne Greengrass and Oliver Wood
When: Saturday, Before Sunset
What: The Full Moon
Where: Daphne's Flat
Rating: IDK
Status: In Progress
The spare bedroom in Daphne's flat was a very depressing room. Instead of the normal wooden door it had a three inch thick steel door with seven different locks. There were no windows, the only light coming from the fixture in the ceiling. Layers and layers of spells had been placed on the room, preventing anyone from entering or leaving once the sun dipped below the horizon. Daphne knew she was one of the lucky ones. Being a cursebreaker gave her some knowledge on how to secure a space, but she also had friends who could help. She didn't feel comfortable at 54, but it would do until she could find something more remote.
Most of the day had been spent pacing around her flat, snapping at anyone who came too close. The one person she wanted the most was the one person she didn't want to see. As the hours ticked on, Daphne wanted Oliver closer. The morning was rough, but the afternoon was fucking awful. The longer the day dragged on, the more irritable and anxious Daphne was getting.
She tried to eat, but the steak in front of her had been over cooked and Daphne's stomach churned at the smell of cooked meat. Pushing it away, Daphne opted for a glass of whisky instead. When a knock sounded on her door, Daphne vaulted over her sofa to open it.
"Hi," she said, breathlessly. She wanted to grab him, pull him close and kiss him, but Daphne restrained herself somehow.
