EYES ON DIAGON SEEN: Quidditch star pays the ultimate price for a full time Lady of the Alley as she moves into his flat. SEEN: Giant Seer finally sees everything a Pub Manager has to offer. HEARD: Pureblood Heir crying over Lost Love RUMORED: Single Chaser desperate for love. Looks to change teams off the pitch.
BABY WATCH Spring is in the air and the ladies of Diagon Alley are preparing to bring new life into the world. Our eyes and ears throughout Diagon tell us that several witches are either expecting or trying their best to expect. We would suggest that people be careful what they whisper about in public, but then we wouldn't have much to report, now would we?
Now, of course, we cannot confirm anything, but one doesn't need to be a Seer to see some of this coming.
When two people who have never shown any shred of romantic feelings for each other are getting married in under a month it doesn't take too much effort to see that Pansy Parkinson and Ronald Weasley have a baby on the way. Now, no such family would ever dream of confirming this scandalous detail, but they must think the rest of the wizarding world is full of morons. However, if we were marrying someone who once demanded our best friend to be surrendered to the Dark Lord we'd want to keep our dalliances a secret as well. Still, keep an eye out for the upcoming baby bump and be prepared for no one to be surprised.
Our next upcoming bundle of joy has been long awaited by many. Our sources tell us that Beatrice Tremlett is trying to get pregnant with her ever charming rockstar husband, Donny Tremlett. These two certainly had a rough start in the beginning of their relationship, but even the most eager Sisters fans can't deny how sweet and lasting their love has been. We wish these two all the luck in the world as they expand their family!
And finally, Finley MacAllistor has made a terrible mistake in choosing a partner. While he once paid for the services of Alicia Spinnet, he'll now be paying for the rest of his life. We've heard that these two are moving in together and trying for a baby. Maybe Finley took a few too many bludgers to the head or maybe Alicia is just that good at getting men to do her bidding. Either way, this has disaster written all over it.
SEEKING AN OLD FLAME Heartbroken over the loss of her ex-boyfriend, Hermione Granger has reportedly been looking to rekindle an old romance. Rumor has it that the brightest witch of her age has been locked up and furiously writing to none other than Viktor Krum. If you don't recall, the Bulgarian was utterly smitten with Miss Granger several years ago and from what we've heard, that hasn't changed. Miss Granger has been writing and receiving love letters the star Quidditch Seeker as these two finally come together and start a life.
It's about time, isn't it? (Cont'd on Page 23)
THE MOST DRAMATIC MAGICAL FAMILY The Malfoy family has been dethroned. For decade they held the title as the more dramatic family, but we are thrilled to report that title now belongs to the Weasley family! With so many people it isn't much a surprise, but what is a surprise is everything going on within this ginger clan.
First, we are so excited to report that there may be another Weasley man available. Bill Weasley was seen moving into 54 Diagon Alley without the beautiful Veela on his arm. Could this mean that Bill Weasley's marriage is over? We would hate to see two such beautiful people fall apart, but if this gives another witch a chance at the alluring cursebreaker then game on!
Now, you'd think the most shocking moment in this family would be Ron Weasley's upcoming marriage, but that pales in comparison to the real love triangle. Perhaps you remember that Witch Weekly reported that a certain Healer had captured the heart of a Wild Weasley? Well, thanks to too much wine we can now confirm that Penelope Clearwater and Charlie Weasley are head over heels in love with each other! How sad for poor Percy Weasley who also confessed his love for the charming Healer. Miss Clearwater has a child with Terry Boot as well, but we're told that they are just good friends. It's a good thing. We're not sure Miss Clearwater could handle a third suitor. So now the question remains, who will Penelope choose and will her decision ruin the fragile relationship Percy Weasley has with the rest of his family?
Love hasn't escaped the rest of the Weasley children. George Weasley decided not to go too far in finding his new love. And she's on his payroll! Verity Scott has worked for George since his store opened, but now it seems her job description has expanded to include some very unprofessional tasks. A new low, even for this family.
The most dramatic Weasley of all, however, is also the younger. Ginny Weasley is furious with her brother's decision to marry and she's not being quiet about it. We're told that Ginny has been giving all of her support to her best friend, Hermione Granger. This must make things tricky for our Chosen One and the rest of the Weasleys. We're even told that Ginny has no intention of going to the wedding! Pity, pity. What was once a loving family seems to be falling apart.
THE GOLDEN TRIO FALLS APART We all remember the famous Golden Trio. Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ronald Weasley came together and helped save our world for Voldemort. At the time it felt like their friendship could never be broken, but clearly times have changed.
And the source for this demise? Pansy Parkinson. It would seem that Miss Parkinson is finally getting what she wanted two years ago when she called for Harry Potter's head. These three friends are barely speaking to each other. But, luckily, Ron Weasley has made a new best friend. He was seen talking with Draco Malfoy just last week. Interesting that Weasley would choose to replace his two best friends with their former enemies, but maybe he never actually cared about his friendships at all. Or maybe he's simply moved on from his childhood exploits and realizes there is more to life than Hogwarts friends. Either way, it's unlikely that we'll see these three together again.
