A fic challenge comm where the prompts are music.

About:

Yes, it's yet another challenge comm, but this time the prompts go on shuffle and may require headphones or a nice pair of speakers for maximum effect. And this challenge should be easy: Each month, I (your friendly neighborhood music-pusher,

stopthatgirl7) post music, and you create stuff--you have a month (or more, we're flexible here) to write fic or make art for any or all of them.

RULES
1. Any content welcome, be it gen, het or slash, original or fannish, canon or AU, fic or art. Please post your work behind a cut, and include fandom, character/pairing, rating, and warnings (if necessary). Please also mention which song(s) you're writing to.

2. Common courtesy is not optional. Don't make me put on the modhat, please.

3. Please post your fics here as well as to your own journals. We likes the fic, my precious, and it hurtssss us if the fic goes away.

4. If you want to suggest a song, around the 15th of the month I'll put up an f-locked "Suggestion Box" post where you can upload songs, and one or two lucky songs will be chosen to go up on the next song post.

5. Songs will remain up during the challenge period, reposted if necessary. After the month is up, the post gets f-locked, and if the links expire, that's all she wrote, folks.

6. This is not a music sharing comm. It's a challenge comm. If you like what you hear, give the artists money like I do.

7. Have fun, and may you find something that inspires you!

I'll try to post at least five songs per month, and from many differing genres. My music tastes are eclectic and all over the map (literally and figuratively), and I'll do my best to make sure there's something for everyone, from classical to rap to metal to opera to country to alt to indies to big band.
