Squall waited for Zell to finish his last blow. It should have been enough. It wasn't.

"Damn, these little beasties are strong."

Thank you, Irvine, for pointing out the obvious. It was the Island Closest to Hell after all.

He then surged forward, swinging his blade high over his head. As always, the timing had to be perfect. His blade flashed in the bright sunlight, and he clenched his finger at just the right moment, pulling the trigger and firing the fatal shot that sealed the deal.

The monster staggered, and fell.

"Well, that was easy."
