“Didya get it?”

“Think so.” She lifted the broom. With a wicked grin she picked the stunned rat up by the tale and dangled it in front of Cid’s face. “It’s still movin’!”

“DAMMIT!!”

Shera belly laughed as Cid fell from the stool he was perched on. “Sorry hunny. I couldn’t help it.”

“Woman, I oughta kick you off my ship!”

Shera pulled him up and kissed him. “Love you too, dear. Now, let’s get ready for takeoff.”

Reno went flying out the church door and into the muddy streets of Sector Five, his new suit instantly ruined when he hit the ground. Struggling to his feet, he pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to stop the bleeding. Something ground worryingly under his fingers - broken. Well, fuck.

Angry footsteps made him look up. His target stood in the doorway, vibrating with fury, clutching her staff in both hands. "Stay. Off. My flowers," she growled.

Reno groaned and checked his pockets for a tissue. That chick's Soldier material. No wonder Tseng never managed to bring her in.

"I'll talk to her," he said, wanting to avoid conflict. The Turk nodded and stood behind him as the scientist opened the door.

"Can I help you?" Gast asked her.

She hesitated and he thought for a moment she was shaking. "My name is Ifalna. I need to talk to you about Jenova."

"You know about Jenova?" Gast sputtered.

"The planet says 'Put her back.'"

"You'd better come inside."

'Oh come now, this is no time to be coy. Well? Do I have to start DNA testing to find out who is responsible?' said Tseng calmly.

Elena winced and tried not to glance towards the large Turk standing beside her, shoulders square and stiff.

'I...that is, we...request permission to marry...sir. Under the circumstances,' said Rude.

'Hmmm...well, given the news of your unexpected guest, permission granted. And you will be on light duties from now on Elena.'

The fair Turk relaxed and slipped an arm through Rude's. 'Unexpected, but not unwanted, sir,' she said, smiling.

"Guys, last call already. Give back the bottle." Head cocked and a hand on her hip, the other hand out for the bottle, waiting.
"You know 'hat 'his is 'ha only place 'hat'll let us drink."
"I know that Reno. I'm the one letting you drink here. Now give up the bottle."
The redhead waved said bottle just out of reach with a smirk on his face, fully intending to keep his prize. "I'm not done drinkin' Tifa."
"Reno, you're done. You're well and fully pickled. Gimme the bottle before you become an unwanted guest."
Reno laughed, "I'm always wan'ed."

The Turks and Avalanche hardly noticed that they tied each other for 40 points each last week.  They were far too busy throwing snowballs at each other in the name of ShinRa versus the planet.  SOLDIER was far too busy building the biggest and grandest snow-chocobo on the block, complete with battle armor and a snow-trooper.  They took home the trophy with 60 points!

This week's prompt is #26 - Uninvited Guest

Many of us have been in a situation where we have to play reluctant host to an uninvited guest.  If not, we have had to endure the endless bitching about it from someone who has Uncle Larry sack out on the couch for the holidays.  Occasionally, the uninvited guest will bring friends. O_O

Does messy Reno crash Tseng's place while his apartment is being repainted?  Is Rufus imposing himself on Cloud for lunch?  Does Tifa have some unruly customers at Seventh Heaven?  Will Cid last one more minute without blowing his stack over his uninvited guest?  Jenova was uninvited and yet tried to make herself at home.  Would Hojo or Hollander waltz into the head office and just make themselves comfotable in the comfy chair? The Turks are probably always uninvited...and unwelcome.   What do the SOLDIERs think of being injected with Jenova cells...an uninvited cellular addition?  Are those Chocobos making a mess of the place??  Then you have the triplets...deepground...   So many uninvited guests!

No matter who is crashing the party, write about it in just 100 words.
