Lazard sighed and adjusted his cravat. “Angeal, you’re the only one that’s believable. I mean really – just look at the other Firsts.”

“Conceded. What about Fair?”

“The Second? I’m afraid not. They were adamant. They want you.”

Angeal scrubbed his hand across his face. “If I do this, will you stop signing me up for these things?”

“Absolutely.”

“…okay, this ad is for which brand of condoms, again?”

Pride, also known as vanity, has been called the sin from which all others arise.
