‘Don’t you like it, my lady?’ Genesis replied. He had been holding the boy in his arms, child’s bright, blue eyes fixed on Her beautiful face.

‘I am just… surprised,’ she said. Lifestream started appearing around her, embracing her hovering figure. She slowly began to vanish, melt away into ribbons of green light.

‘Genesis?’ he heard Her speaking, Her voice quiet, words meant for him alone.

‘Yes, my lady?’ he bowed his head a bit, waiting for the question She would surely ask.

‘Why Sephiroth?’

‘You work too hard, yo,’ Reno says lazily, and makes himself comfortable on the edge of his desk, drinking Rufus’ whisky.

‘And what makes you think so?’

‘C’mon, boss, it’s 2 a.m.’ Reno smiles. ‘I got something more fun in mind.’

He leans down and kisses him. Rufus doesn’t mind that, either. When it comes to office sex, Reno is a professional.
