Author's Notes: First time writing genderswap, but I do have the most vivid image of girl Rufus in my head now, it's quite awesome.

They regarded the dead President somberly, Masamune pinning his corpse to the table, the sound of a helicopter approaching. "Ruth! Shit! I forgot about her!" Barret swore, lifting his gun arm.

"Who's that?" Tifa asked.

"Vice President Ruth. The President's daughter. I heard no one's ever seen her bleed or cry." he replied with a small shiver.

Outside the chopper landed and a strawberry blonde with cold eyes emerged in a sinfully low cut white business suit, catching sight of them and smiling, leveling a shotgun at them. Was that a cat next to her? "So, who are you guys?"

Cloud smiled as Meteor came crashing down towards the Northern Cave. He had failed, his friends broken bodies lying around him. Sephiroth stood there, looking every inch the God he claimed to be, staring up at the world dissolving around them. "So soon, the power of the Lifestream will all be mine!"

"No."

"What?" A flash of scarlet across his face, in his hair.

Cloud smiled wider; the Buster Sword through Sephiroth's chest, close enough to whisper. "I'm taking you with me."

And as they fell into the centre of the Planet, he laughed. "For Nibelhiem. For everyone. Goodbye Sephiroth."
