Be Careful What You Wish For / You Just Might Get It
Title: Be Careful What You Wish For
Character : a Cetra
Challenge: Wishes
Team: SOLDIER
Rating: PG
Word Count: 100
Author’s Note: Two millennia before FFVII…

I often wonder about the Promised Land. When I guide the energy of the planet, I can feel it just beyond my fingertips. Is it truly hidden within our planet? I can feel my ancestors beyond the Lifestream’s veil, betimes I communicate with them to gain clarity on an issue.

They tell me not to wander far, yet I cannot help looking farther than the others.

My gaze goes up while the others look down. What lies beyond our skies? Do the stars hold our sacred land? Or do they just bare witness?

I wish that one could tell me.

Title: You Just Might Get It
Character : a Cetra
Challenge: Wishes
Team: SOLDIER
Rating: PG
Word Count: 100
Author’s Note: …Jenova crash-landed on the planet.

It was not as I expected.

The sky was wounded with a gash of light and the planet now bares its scar.

We feel the effects and many of my kin have lost their thoughts.

There is no need to wonder anymore. I’ll have my answer soon enough. I’ve learned my lesson for this lifetime and I will teach it to others.

I pray the planet forgives me. I pray for all our sakes. I pray for the future.

If the stars do not bare witness, mayhap our defeat of this creature will be a reminder to the next generation.
