Author's Note: Inspired by a conversation with a friend about how a certain plot point seems to be a Science Department tradition. Also, timeline-wise, I'm not sure it works. But I think it's funny.

"It's your turn."

Gast looked away nervously. "I don't really think she's ready, Hojo."

"Ready? If anything, you're running late with Ifalna. There's tradition to uphold!"

"Tradition? I don't..."

"You don't think? What would Professor Hollander think of you waffling? You know everyone experiments on their wife. Hollander did, Valentine did. I've been stalling for you, but I don't think I can get any more leeway from Lucrecia. She's pretty dead."

Gast nodded. "You're right, Hojo. Tell the Professor we'll begin an experiment immediately."

"That's more like it." Hojo left.

"Iffy?" Gast called. "I need you to pack. We're leaving."

	oh sweet shiva. icon = utter love!! may i gank? the only way to not be tested on is to be the scientist. ...gods, even if you were born into a family where one is mad as hojo and is your dad... i'd still think there'd be experiments done. (Reply to this) (Thread)
