Tifa looked at the houses of Nibelheim, and she wondered when, exactly, she stopped thinking of this place as home. When she had been carried out after Sephiroth’s massacre, she often thought of coming back here to help with the rebuilding she knew was going on. Midgar was never home to her, it was merely the place she worked against Shinra. Now she was here, but with a Cloud so broken in his mind that he barely noticed the wrongs, seeing people who hadn’t grown up with her, and all she felt was cold. Where would she call home now?
