Prompt #40
What happens when something strange shows up in your world (or you end up in some other place)?  Why, points get awarded, of course!  But not to worry, SOLDIER had everything under control (they are ShinRa's finest weapons) for 470 points!!!  So, they get to keep their little trophy yet again this week.  Avalanche didn't do so bad against the invasion either with 400 points!!  The Turks...um, they have to protect the President, yeah.  That is their only mission for 50 points. 

This week's prompt is #40 - Cid Highwind

Get ready for some cigarette smoking, swearing, tea drinking drabbles!  It's Cid week.

Who is Cid Highwind?  What is the man behind the wheel really like?  Does he have further dreams and ambitions now that the space program has been scrapped?  How does he really feel about the ShinRa family? Where did he learn to use a pike?  Would he ever want a family of his own?

Drabbles can be from Cid's point of view or just about him from afar, but they must include Cid somewhere in just 100 words.


Mod note:  Some of you will notice that the tagging has changed.  This is for two reasons:

1. To group all of the authors together so that you don't have to wade through all the prompts to find your favorites.
2. For those with underscores at the beginning of their user names to show up correctly in the tags.  For some reason, the tagging will not accept an underscore as the first character in the tag.  Now, those author names are correct.

From now on, tagging for author names will appear as author: yohjideranged.
