| About: | None of the players in this community claim to be or have anything to do with Final Fantasy or Squaresoft. This is a game, and should be treated as such.   Welcome to Spira Secondary School, the heart and center of the Final Fantasy High School community!  Final Fantasy Highschool is a role play game that takes place in an alternate universe. It's centered in Spira, a medium sized community in western Canada. In this community, all the different worlds of the Final Fantasy universe have come together. All the characters are young adults, living together and attending the public school, Spiral Seconrdary School. They have dates and jobs, they go to parties and study for finals and fight to win school elections. None of them are ever responsible for saving the world. If that's the case, then you should check out our wanted list. Remember, the Final Fantasy universe is quite large, and there's a rainbow of characters to consider. 2. Create a character journal. Minimal underscores and 'x's in it please. An AIM account would also be good, considering there ARE going to be some IC chats going on from time to time. 3. Head over here and fill out the application. 4. There is no four. Four doesn't exist. 5. Follow the rules. Oh yes. The rules. The two least popular words in the RP language.  1. Don't be stupid. The most important rule there is out there. These creatures are all young adults, true, but that doesn't mean they run around squealing like tweens, using their 'net speak bcuz itz soooooooooooooooo kewl!!1111111!!. Don't be stupid. If I catch you talking like that, I'll send the Ronsos after your character. Or I might just give you a nasty eye. Whichever. Just remember, these creatures are intelligent. Their grades depend on it. 2. Be active online. The worst thing is having somebody join as a prime character, and then noticing that you've never once seen that character sign onto AIM, or update their journal. Don't just join for the sake of joining people. If you're not active, you'll get a warning. Three strikes and you're out. I love sports analogies, don't you? 3. Update. Yes, this is the dreaded rule about how often you have to update your journals. I'd LIKE to see at least an update every two weeks, but I'll be nice and say you won't get warned until you reach the one month limit. But if it does take you that long to update your character, please have your update longer than just 'I went to class today and checked out Selphie's ass. Selphie has a hot ass.' Because... that's just lame. A couple paragraphs every month. That's not too hard, is it? 4. Be respectful. For goddess sake, be respectful, ya little jerks. If somebody does something that pisses you off, don't wage war against them. I'm not saying you have to like everybody in the community, because I know that's wishful thinking. But don't be openly hostile to somebody, just because their character sunk their claws into the piece of ass you had your eyes on. That's not cool, man. Also, keep IC shite IC. Know what that means, kids? In.Character. I'll use the piece of ass example again. This goes for OOC drama too. Let's say, for example, you don't like Jane who plays Yuna? Fine. Don't like Jane. Ignore Jane's very being. But if you play say... Rikku, who is her cousin, don't have her be all 'OMG I HATE YOU YUNA!!!!!!11' just because your feelings for Jane are less than fuzzy. Let's prove that we're all mature players. 5. Don't try to make your character into a God. Your 'warriors' can be strong, that's fine. Strong characters make the world go round. Your 'black mages' can do minimal Magicks ((think the beginning of The Craft here, people -- no throwing fireballs or anything. MINIMAL)). Also good and fine. But do not, under any circumstances, say your characters can't be killed. No immortals. Nothing like that. Because that's just unfair to those of us who might want to duke it out in a fist fight with your character. Everybody's got weaknesses, so play nice. 6. Pimp us. This isn't an actual rule, more of a suggestion. ^_^ You'll get modsex if you do. There is no better sex than that from mods. Think about it. 7. Make good choices. I don't ask that you run everything by the mod (being me), but if there's something big, like a pregnancy line or a teacher getting kidnapped in front of his class, then run it by me. Chances are I'll tell you to go ahead. If another person's pup is involved, say for that pregnancy line, PLEASE be sure to run it by them as well. 8. Don't bite off more than you can chew. We've got a character limit here at FFH, like so many other RPGs. The mods have decided that three is a good number to have, but it may be updated to four in the future, if everyone remains active. Please don't apply for characters when you have no real intention of playing them. Also, if you're struggling to keep the kids you already have active, please don't pick up that third character. It's common sense, right? Still interested? Then c'mon over and apply! And have fun! | |||||||||
