Project Runway prom dress episode  
So, [info]4cupcakes1988 didn't know how to do a spoiler cut, so she kindly deleted her post about last night's Project Runway. And so here's my cut....

And here's the Runway....

I thought that Sweet P's dress was completely stunning and should have won:



And although the photo of it doesn't capture its beauty, I also thought Jillian's dress was better than the winner, the blue bejeweled mini by Victorya.

While Victorya's dress is cute and I love the color, I think Sweet P should have won as well. Her model looked beautiful walking down the runway.

I liked Sweet Pea's dress best too. Surprising, since I haven't liked her much in previous episodes. I wasn't impressed with Jillian's though, and while Victorya's was sort of cool, it isn't my idea of a prom dress. Despite what the judges had to say about Rami's dress, I thought it was gorgeous and not as muture-looking as they seemed to think.

I know everyone else hates Christian, but I was sooooo relieved that he wasn't out even if his dress was ugly and he was acting like a princess

I'm off... it's definitely time to do some Project-Runway-icon-snagging :)

I'm reading the afterelton review now... and omg I forgot to comment on Chris's dress! Really his was my favorite! I loved the color and it was so pretty! I was really surprised he wasn't in the top three.

huh, imagine that, I don't have a single icon that has anything to do with- *facepalm* I was going to say "prom", but really I was thinking "a frilly prom dress"... but I do have one of those!

I totally agree Sweet P should have been the winner, I also loved Cris's green dress. To me Victorya's dress could have done without the god awful rinestone triangle, it would have been much better as a strapless, plus is it just me or is the bodice part of her dress a little off? that girl's boobs look weird ...

Cristian's dress had me ROTFLMAO! make that dress floor length and you have the most horrid brides maid dress I've ever been subjected to. I had to email the pic of his dress to my girls so we could laugh together and remember the tragic event.

Thank you for saving me Xie and sorry if I ruined the ep for anyone...I feel so bad about that...I'm going to learn how to do a cut if it kills me!...Here's my deleted post plus a little more... I do think Sweet P was robbed, personally and as much as people think Christian is catty controversial, I was really pulling for him last night. Now my post:

So does anyone else think Christian really won Best Dressed at his prom? I do! Christian totally won me over with his opinionated-client drama. OMG---she actually drew on his paper! RALLY! CHRISTIAN! RALLY! I loved how the camera panned over the "flotsam & jetsam" on the floor...

Anyway, I do think the best line of the night was (and I paraphrase)...

From Victorya to her client (now remember--they only have 30 minutes to discuss the design and THIS is what she wants to talk about!):

V: "What was it about me (or my designs?) that made you want to work with me?"
Teenage girl: "I had the last pick..."

I'm still laughing. Do you think Victorya used a Bedazzler on that dress? I had to let the dog out during that part...

And thank the gods Rami is still in...and how could that mother NOT know it was Chris in the pictures in his portfolio? OMG? Interesting costumes? Honey, that's Chris in drag!

I love that show.

He may have gotten best dressed... I bet he had a LOT of really good female friends in high school. It's just a feeling I have.

I'm so excited to watch this when I get home!!! YAY. I did notice the dresses under your cut without reading what it said though.

that aqua-y one is gorgeous!!! so is the white one! the blue one is sorta hideous.

but then i'm wearing a sweater with tiny flecks of orange, aqua, red, pink, blue, white, purple, and lime in it, so wtf do I know?

The best dress of the day was Chris's. It was beautiful, flattering and age appropriate. For a special occasion in you 20, 30 , 40... I would have picked Sweet Pea's dress. Her model looked the best but her dress was a bit too classic for a prom where everyone wants to look hip. It is more "Oscar" than prom.

My problem was with who they chose to eliminate. I thought Ricky's dress was awful. It was completely unflattering and he should have been thrown out instead of Kevin. At least Kevin attempted to do something flattering by choosing a nice vivid color. it was his silhouette that was an issue. The dress needed to be longer to make the girl appear taller and slimmer.
