Speaking of Mascara...
I was rummaging around my makeup case, so I figured I would post what I had in my case and my opinions of it.

Disclaimer: My opinions do not represent the management of this asylum. XD

As I stated in a previous post, I have very curly and thick lashes, which is a blessing and a burden.

I tried Maybelline Intense Volume XXL mascara in 'Brownish', but I instantly did not like it. Step one is to put this thick, white goopy stuff on my lashes, let it dry, and the second step was to apply the actual mascara. I found the actual colored mascara did not cover the goopy white stuff, and it completely clumped up my lashes. I dunno why I still have it. I should probably throw it away.

I also tried Too Faced Lash Injection Mini. It has a strong citrus scent, which I never would associate with mascara. The mascara did produce some volume, but it would flake off my lashes and would occasionally clump. I use it on occasion, but usually for touch-ups.

I received a sample tube of Sephora brand Lash Plumper. It fared better, as it didn't flake as much as Lash Injection, but it was still clumpy.

I like a bit of sparkle with my eyes, so I bought Bare Escentuals Beautifully Luminous Lashes in Gold. It is designed to be worn over mascara, and it is truly stunning. Hardly any flaking, and it sure won't leave any raccoon eyes. I use it over the Sephora brand because it provides the best results so far.

(As you can probably tell, I shop at Sephora. A lot. :P)

Anyway, what mascaras are your favorites? As far as myself, I am a fan of eyeshadow, mascara and lip gloss.

Prior to falling in love with Chanel's new mascara, see previous post kthnx, I used, and loved, Aveda's Mosscara. It thickens, and I liked it a lot... until I liked the Chanel better. And while it didn't flake while I was wearing it, if I went to bed with it on, it would smear under my eyes and on my pillow case.

I'm not saying one SHOULD sleep in her mascara. Just that if you ever do, which face it, we all sometimes do, it's kind of nice not to wake up looking scary.

LOL oh my, I remember the days of falling asleep in my makeup, usually after a night of partying, busy day at work or whatnot. Nothing says unsexy than raccoon eyes. Or for a double whammy - mascara AND black eyeliner. Egad!

I don't really wear black eyeliner anymore, especially with mascara.

Try Lancome Hypnose. No extra steps and your lashes looks like you spent hours tourturing them with a curler after just one coat.
