Who: Boone & Shannon
When: Day Four; Early morning
Where: The caves, the jungle, then survivor beach
It had been four days since the crash. Four days during which Shannon had been lost in the jungle. She had woken up alone and frightened and lost. There were bits and pieces of the plane and some luggage scattered about her, but other than that, the girl was completely alone.
Where was Boone? Had anybody else survived the crash? Had they been rescued yet, and perhaps already left without her?
That first evening, Shannon had spent the entire night cowering in some sort of cave, panicked sobs echoing around the walls and making her feel all the more isolated. There were dead bodies in the cave, as well, which terrified her even more. For a day and a half she remained there, trying to recover, trying to think of what to do, where to go. Never had she been camping - knew nothing about surviving in the wild - and it was only by luck that the caves had a fresh supply of running water.
On the third day, the blonde left the caves. She couldn't stay there. Besides, if she died (which was probable), at least she would die wandering the jungle, instead of sitting still.
All day Shannon had wandered, exhausted both emotionally and physically, suffering from shock and the few scrapes and bruises she had gained from the plane crash, and without her inhaler and any other form of luxery.
On the mornng of the fourth day, she had been just about to give up all hope, when, in the distance the young woman heard the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. It was a sound she never thought she'd be so happy to hear. Tears sprang to her eyes. Her breathing had been coming in shallow gasps for hours now, and she knew that it would only be a matter of time before she wouldn't be able to breathe at all.
Still she struggled on, smacking leaves and branches out of her way until she finally emerged on the beach. Shannon's tears flowed freely down her cheeks as her eyes rested on the ocean, then the wreckage.... And people. She wasn't the only one who had survived.
Shannon sank to her knees, inhaling deep gulps of air as she fought to maintain the affects of her asthma. Where the hell was Boone when she needed him? Was he even still alive?
[that... kinda sucked. sorreh. was trynna summarize her first couple days and yeah, blargh.]
