Jordan slowly wondered the beach, it had been a couple of days since coming back from Darry's cave.It also didn't surprise her that he was no where to be seen. Maybe she was just having a crazy dream about meeting him. She thought for sure rescue would come by now but there had been no sign. She managed to find her belongings so she was going through her bags and found an envelope; a letter from her father, a letter that she had read again and again. There was no hope on finding her half-brother now.

	Boone lay in the dark on the beach, looking up at the stars. He saw a woman walking around. One of the survivors, he recognized, but not one he knew. He figured it would be nice to be polite, so he waved, wondering if she would see him, or want to come over. He hoped she would in a way so he'd have someone to talk to. (Reply to this) (Thread)

Jordan only just noticed a man sitting on his own, she was surprised when he waved at her as she was convinced she did not know him. She was weighing up to knowledge him or just walk past but she realised she wouldn't mind some company tonight. Slowly making her way up to him, she shoved her hands in her jacket pocket, once close enough, and with a smile, she said a simple, "Hi."

	He smiled when she sat down. "How are you?" he asked, leaning back on his elbows in the sand. He was glad that she'd come over. He didn't want to be by himself. He wished Shannon were there. 	She hugged her arms around her bent knees, looking back at him, with a shrug "As good as anyone else stuck on this island." She smiled. 	She was happy that he agreed, she looked ahead to the water, and was about to ask him what was his reason for being on the plane when she realised they were still strangers. 	Jordan gave Boone a small smile "Nice to meet you Boone." She concentrated on him, he wasn't much of a talker, which disappointed her, she hated awkward silences and usually found it easy when it comes to talking to guys. Maybe this one was just too exhausted. "So... what exciting reason got you on that flight?" She asked in a way to lighten the mood. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	She started to wonder if he was in the mood for company, she kind of felt like he was elsewhere, which probably was the truth. When he mentioned his sister, she nodded. It seemed everyone she come across has a sibling or two, "Oh, just family stuff. My father just died so...visiting I guess." She decided to keep about finding her half-brother to herself for now. He looked at her as she spoke of her family. "Oh..." he said, stunned to silence momentarily before recovering himself enough to say, "I'm sorry to hear that."

He sighed. "I just wish I knew where we were... I know it sounds stupid but something really bothers me about not knowing where I am. It doesn't even matter whether or not other people know. I just want to know that, if I ever get off this island, I could look at a map and know where I was."

It was a tired ramble, but Boone couldn't really stop it.

Jordan forced a small to him, she shook her head "You don't need to be sorry, I hardly knew the man."

She nodded in agreement, she also wished she knew where they were and why they had been the only people here. "It doesn't sound stupid, I kind of feel the same way, but I'm sure this place is on the map, it has to be doesn't it?" She wasn't convinced herself. If this island was on a map than wouldn't Darry, the stranger she had encounted and stayed the night with, be rescued by now?

	"Oh..." Boone trailed off. "My dad died when I was little..." He shrugged. He was glad he didn't sound stupid to her. "Yeah. I guess so." He shook his head. "I really don't know honestly." He didn't know. If this place had ever been heard of, surely one of the more powerful nations of the world would have staked a claim, right? (Reply to this) (Parent)
