WHO: Lucas
WHAT: Contemplations of a recently moved in werewolf
WHEN: Saturday afternoon
WHERE: Around town
RATING: G
STATUS: Completed/Solo
Ever since arriving in Evergreen Peaks, Lucas has felt like he’s on high alert and every sense is tingling in a way that is both unnatural and completely unfamiliar. It’s unsettling, especially when his gaze keeps being drawn towards the woods and an itch is spreading along his spine until it’s literally all he can feel and think about.
The town is crawling with the supernatural and whilst part of that can be considered reassuring there’s also a much larger part that can be considered worrying, especially with the various elements and the size of the town itself. It might be the perfect recipe for disaster, but Lucas supposes given that the town hasn’t imploded on itself by now then there’s a good chance that there’s a balance met somewhere in the middle by one and all.
For the last couple of days Lucas has been watching, observing, taking it in and learning the motions of the town. A routine is prevalent in every movement and shift, an ever present marching sound as the town goes about its business and the citizens go about their daily business.
For such a tall figure he can be easily overlooked, missed in the shadows, it’s a talent worth having and one he wouldn’t give up for anything. It’s always better to know a little or a lot about where you’re living, even if that knowledge stems from a time spent observing and taking it in. Lucas has and will always have an issue with trust, especially when he’s used to relying on himself and himself alone. Being in this town means opening himself up to the possibility of forming… connections and that concerns him more than it should.
His next step is to seek out the were elder as apparently he’s supposed to make his presence known. That should make for an interesting meeting considering Lucas’ disposition towards… elder wolves, especially those of the male persuasion. So far all he’d ever known was a rushing of blood through his veins that overpowered all rational thought and brought depravity gushing to the surface.
He’ll have to watch that, he really will.
As for right now? He needs to fill the gas tank on his bike and find someplace to be.
