Say, I've been intending to ask, is it possible to be affiliated?

I've just set up a comm

scene2fic myself, and I was thinking of affiliating with prompt communities, so that people who want to work on prompts can just write scenes instead of writing fics. And they could use their scenes as a base to launch their fic writing (and hence hopefully more fic).

Essentially, this would mean that some of the fic posted at

scene2fic would be based on the prompts here at

fanfic100, but users are expected to link back here (so it'll be advertising as well).

in the little box that says 'the html', copy and paste it [highlight, right click, copy. then paste it into a journal entry] into a journal entry.

say you write a fic for 'star'. get the url of where you posted the fic (your journal for instance) then go back and edit the entry (there's a little pencil at the top next to the heart, etc) and find 'star' in the table.

highlight it and press 'link' on the top of the journal bar, and it'll ask you for a url to make the link. save it, and the entry should show the link to the entry.

I'm going to make an image-- a step by step visual -- on how to do it. i suck at instructions.

[forgive me, i'm really not trying to make you sound like an idiot. feel free to tell me what the problem is if this doesn't help any. i'm horrible at giving instructions.]
