One I'm especially interested in is a mentor/student situation where a talented students seeks out this curmudgeonly/reclusive but reputedly brilliant wizard/sorcerer/etc. Wanting the sort of dynamic where they keep clashing and butting heads but coming back for more. Slight preference for the mentor in this dynamic, but I can easily work with either.
