August topics with an important rule change announcement
IT IS IMPORTANT YOU READ THE FOLLOWING:
The mods offandom_muses have discussed ways to make writing more enjoyable at this community. We have decided to change a couple of the rules that we feel will benefit and inspire our members. Effective this month (July since we're posting early) the following rule changes have been made:
1. The activity requirement forfandom_muses is now every two months rather than every month. If you have not written a topic for July and choose not to write one for July you have until the first of September to submit a topic. If you have submitted a topic for July you have until the first of October to submit your next topic.
2. Roleplay will now be counted toward activity. If you complete an rp thread between two or more muses each muse can use this toward the activity requirement. We will only be counting completed rp threads so let's go by the honor system here okay? All you have to do is comment in the monthly topic post with the link of the completed thread. Each muse who wishes to use that thread may comment with the link.
We hope that you find these changes fun and creatively inspirational. It really is a pleasure to have each and every one of you as a member of this comm. The mods look forward to continuing writing with each of you.
Just a reminder that all previous topics are always available to be used for any muse as long as they haven't used it before. You just comment to this post with the link to the prompt after you write it. As always remember to comment here with your July prompt link and add it to your memories. Also, a reminder all challenges are due on the first of the month at 12am (midnight) EASTERN time and must be 150 words minimum to count for monthly activity.
