Fill out the poll below to nominate a special person that you think should be honored next week. If you are able, please give me a list of their favorite fandoms and pairings/characters.

If you need more room or can't use the poll, please comment with your nomination. Comments will be screened.

Welcome to fandom_hugs.

Here's how things will work.

• On Sunday of week one, I will make a post where you can nominate someone to receive recognition. You will have until Wednesday to nominate.
• On Thursday, I will make a post where you vote for the person(s) you would like to honor in the coming week. You will have until Saturday to vote.
• On Sunday of week two, I will make a post announcing the top vote getter(s). You will have all of week two to post your appreciation of the person(s) selected.

Here are a few guidelines to keep in mind.

• There will be no bashing of any kind. Do not bash people, characters, fandoms, pairings, etc. You will get only one warning if this happens. If it happens a second time, you will be banned from the community.
• Please do not nominate yourself. It's just tacky.
• When posting, please state clearly who you are honoring in your post. 
• When posting fanart or fanfic, appropriate warnings and lj-cuts should be used. 
• Please give credit for anything posted that is borrowed from others.  It's just the polite thing to do.
• Ratings should be used where appropriate.
• Appropriate posts include: fic, fanart, recs of fic/fanart, funny stories, and anything else that would make the person(s) smile.

If you know of someone who is going through a particularly tough time (very sick, lost their job, lost a loved one, etc), you can let me know. I can make a special post for that person. Then I will send a link to the post to him/her.

That's about it. If I revise these guidelines, I will post a note in the community.
