School was remarkably refreshing today. Jason had two tests - both of which he was sure he aced - and his charcoal drawing turned out pretty good, even though he generally sucked at still-lifes. The only downer was that he didn't get to spend his lunch hour with Caleb.
Dinner, however, was another matter entirely. As Jason went into the cafeteria, he saw Caleb sitting over at one of the far tables and couldn't suppress a smile. Grabbing a sandwich, an apple, and a carton of milk, he went directly over to the table where his boyfriend was sitting. Setting his stuff down, he slid his arms down Caleb's shoulders and pressed a kiss onto his neck. "Didn't see you today at lunch, love," he whispered.
Jason sat down next to Caleb and opened his carton of milk. "What's the matter? Something wrong?"
