When Adam had found out at the beginning of the semester that he wasn't getting a roommate after all, thrilled couldn't even begin to cover his reaction.

So when, barely a month later, he found out res life was moving almost all of the students living alone in with a roommate to save space, he was basically pissed as all fucking hell. And whoever the fuck walked in that door and announced himself as his roommate was going to know it.

If he had to deal with this shit, it was only fair that the poor fag he got stuck with was aware right off the bat of exactly what he'd be getting with Adam. None of this late night bonding, fairy-to-fairy girltalk shit.

They'd sleep in the same room and wake up in the same room. And that was it.

Scott was almost as annoyed about being forced to have a roommate as Adam was. He sat on his bed with an unhappy look on his face, losing himself in the video game he was currently addicted to. Jason had been a great roommate, but what if he wasn't so lucky this time?

He had moved his stuff to one side of the room and propped the door open so that his roommate would be able to find him.

Adam sighed and took one final breath as a free man before he reached the dorm number he'd written in his palm and dropped the last of his stuff in the doorway. The door had been left open, and he took a cautious glance inside.

The boy there was slumped on the bed, video game controller in hand, looking way too fucking depressed for a teenage boy playing a video game. More notable, though, was that this particular depressed face was very familiar. Before he could stop it, Adam felt the tiniest hint of relief at the recognition. Not that he'd ever admit it later.

"Well," he spoke as he leaned against the doorframe. "If it isn't poor little rich boy."

	Scott was relieved, too. He raised an eyebrow at Adam's comment and set down his controller. "Levithan," he said with a slight nod, getting off his bed. "I'm relieved it isn't a complete stranger," he said truthfully, helping Adam put his things in the room. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Adam plopped himself onto the bed and leaned forward, elbows on his knees. "Ah. I stand corrected then." Scott was apparently pretty hard core about his swimming. 	"Cool," said Scott, taking his eyes off the screen to glance at Adam. "We should go running some time." He and JJ had tried to go running together, but it had never been especially successful.
