Aight now. October is over. Exams should be out of the way and people should be available again, for the most part. So here is the activity check!

I have been plotting, and determined that the kiddies have gotten too cutesy and complacent after the pills. So we need to shake them up again. Staff too. There is a major event planned that will effect the entire school... and I need to know who is still playing. Wanna know what it is? Tough! You have to wait and see.

Anyways, either respond here, post a journal entry, or start a thread on the boards if your still playing. It's the weekend, there is no reason people can't put something up! I see you! I know you're there!

How're things going guys? I can honestly say that I'm stepping down as mod (*cackles deviously in Erica's direction*), and I can't really cut back more on character play than I already have. I'd say I'm going to cut ties completely with the game, but that's a lie. So, what I'm going to do is continue what I'm doing now, not really playing but lurking.

If you need one of my characters for any reason, just poke me through email or on AIM.

We'll see what happens from there.

Hi everyone!

I know I haven't been around much lately and I'm really sorry for that. I'm a freshman in college and I'm still trying to figure out how to balance classes and homework and a social life (which I didn't actually have in high school). So I just wanted to let you know that I'm still here, it just may be a little while before I become as active as I was before.

Alright kiddies. Since you guys asked for one, and my good pal Drukas was kind enough to hook me up with a simple cartography program that easily fits our needs, I have done up a prototype campus layout. Note this is only a first rough draft! If there is anything that needs to be changed it can be. This is only a first attempt done in about an hour or so. All building names were pulled outta my ass from various college campuses I am familiar with and can also be changed.

Holz, Schrey, Sutton and Sprowls are classroom buildings. The Schaffer Gymnasium holds the regular gym, indoor pool/diving, locker rooms, health classrooms and such. Hadley is the student center where the cafeteria, the campus post office and other miscelaneous things are.

I know Sutton was supposed to be the girls dorm. I effed up and made it Siebert on the map and didn't feel like changing it just yet.

Anyways, comments, suggestions and critiques are welcomed and encouraged. If I forgot something or you absolutely hate the names just let me know.

Working out information for the guide about the dorms. To those of you who put up with my sneak attacks of inane and random questions... Thank you so much for your patience.  Because we only have so many players, I'm currently only going to have 4 main dorms for students to live in:  Eicher, Cogswell, Sutton, and the Scholars House which are set up as Co-ed, Boys, Girls, and Singles respectively.  Here is what I have gotten so far from you guys about who is living where:

Eicher (Co-ed):

Cogswell (Boys):

Sutton (Girls):

Scholars House: (singles only, 24 hour quite hours)

*please note that characters with open next to their names are available for a roomate if you would like one.


There are also several apartment suites available on campus for Faculty. Living in them is not mandatory, but it is cheaper then getting a place in town ^-^  They're like little condos ranging from one to two bedrooms, with parking spaces out front and a nice porch on both the front and the back.

If your names aren't on the above lists anywhere, please reply here with your muses name, any roomates (one or two triple's are available if anyone would care to try that route) and what building you want to live in.  Also if you have any preference to room #'s let me know that too.  I figure each building is probably at most 4 floors each, maybe 10-15 rooms each floor.  Scholars is the exception, only being two floors w/6 rooms each.


ALSO:  It was suggested to me that we could possibly do up a campus map as well as one of town.  I think it's a good idea worth looking into, but it would take some time and a lot of input from you guys. So I'm doing a little poll here (you'll be seeing these things from me off and on) What do you think? Map or no?

This is newly christened mod Erica (aka: Hina/Teaser) saying hi. I've been with the com pretty much from the get go (I think me and Jayden have the honor of the second post to the board actually) and I'm glad to have this chance to try and help out a little. I play Casey Winters from the Art Dept who teaches the drawing class, photography, sculpture/metal shop,and everyones favorite... Just a little info for those of you who don't know me yet.  I live just to the north-east of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA) and I work for the County Emergency services as a 911 operator answering calls and I also run the radios for the police/fire/ambulances. It's... an interesting job. I do 12 hour night-watch (6pm-6am EST) which means I keep odd hours, but it also gives me a lot of days off. You can generally find me online most any evening till late. It also gives me a lot of stories to tell.  Ask around, they are generally worth it.

This is the 4th com I've modded for. In fact a few of you have been in some of them with me ^-^ I've learned different things in each and every one of them and am happy to bring that experience here. One of the things I've discussed with Heather about doing is setting up a players guide that will have com specific info about various things and places on and around the campus.  This will also be helpful once the storyline gets more involved and the govt starts putting more and more pressure on the school/students because info on what exactly is supposed to be happening can be posted there as it unfolds.  Notifications would still be made here and in im's and such, but we'll also have an easy to locate post with everything in one spot for future reference while playing.

The reason behind this guide is to #1, make it easier for new players to assimilate into the storyline as well as prevent some of the inconsistencies and contradictions that are starting to crop up in the posts. Since this place has been running for about 9 months now (god, has it really been that long??) I'm going to need everyones help.  I want feed back from what you guys think should be included: dorm info (girls/guys/co-ed/singles), staff housing, set up of the different class buildings and such, local haunts in town, etc.  You guys have been living in this little world all this time, help me make your version fit with everyone elses a little better.  You can put recommendations here or grab me on aim or by email.

These guides take time and get updated/changed frequently, so a first draft wouldn't be up for probably two weeks once I start getting the info in and worked out with Heather.

Anyways, the sun is up, it's past my bed time xD.  Feel free to let me know what I can do to help you out.

Now onto the bad news, our game has been dead for a grand total of two days. What's going on? I see all of you on and around most nights, but not a single post. I know, I'm not one to talk either, but there are tons of us, and it is the weekend, which is usually the busiest time for a game.

I've been asked if we can try to beef up our plot a bit to which I say go for it, but make it known what you want to do. Make a comment here about it, or make your own post to the OOC comm, but in order for things to change, someone has to start it.


Also, is anyone else having difficulties with the main comm's layout? I think I might have to change it because IJ is having issues supporting it.

So, if you didn't see Jules' post the other day, I am back and trying to jump back into the swing of things.  Sorry for the lack of me/Jules over the past few months. ;_;

HELLO. Um. For the new people, my name's Ali. I played here a few months and quit due to time restrictions. BUT, I AM COMING BACK. I play Gabe, who'll be a junior, and Lucas Krauss, the German teacher. Lucas has been missing from class due to his father having a heart attack, and up till now wasn't sure if he was going to come back. I haven't figured out why Gabe is late yet. I shall speak to a mod on that.

ANYWAY. Their info is up, and I am totally up for plotting ASAP. I'll make entries for them soon, just not RIGHT now because there are like twelve thousand people online distracting me, which is REALLY REALLY RARE.

EDIT - Okay, I was under the impression that school had been going on longer than... one day. So Gabe is just a day late because his parents' car broke down. Lucas was here for the first day but really harried and distracted, having arrived in town like the day before.
