Rena could only nod at Bridget's solemn request. "Yes, of course, sweetie," she murmured, resisting the urge to gather the girl up in her arms like she might have done when she was younger. No, she had to let Bridget have her dignity, especially when she was acting more like a Lady than she was herself.
