As she drew nearer, Rena was able to make out the woman's face but she was surprised to see she didn't recognize it. While she was by no means a native of Greenville, she had been there long enough to know most of the residents on sight, either from the pub or in passing on the street. If someone wasn't from town, they were generally staying at the pub and thus, she'd be familiar with them that way. Running into a strange woman in the evening was unusual and thus, enough to pique Rena's curiosity.
Rena would have offered a hand to the woman but she scrambled to her feet before she had the chance and though she seemed to favor one ankle slightly, Rena was no doctor and she couldn't say one way or another if she was fine or not. Of course, it wasn't exactly her business, either, she reminded herself. Still, the fact that she was addressed as "Miss" was strange and almost amusing; hardly anyone attached any sort of title to her name anymore, even one so informal as that.
"I'm Rena," she corrected with a slight chuckle. "Are you sure you don't need anything?"
