The Madame walked back to the chair behind her desk and sat down. With a sigh she leaned back and picked up the rosary, looking at the light as it reflected off the beads.

Surely the Madame had no intention of giving her up, not after all that she'd gone through to get and keep her. Feeding a growing child is not easy, after all. But the girl seemed to be almost more trouble than she was worth. There had to be a way to motivate the girl to try harder at her job, the only problem was that the Madame was at a loss as to what that was.
"I guess I don't really have an option here. Tonight you will go to bed without supper, so that you'll think about this and what might happen if you continue to disappoint me." she said, shooting a glare at the girl. "Maybe you should pay more attention to the other girls, maybe they could teach you something about the art lying. Hopefully, anyways. I should have never taken in a useless thing like you."
