It was a simple enough question, and one that Emi likely should have anticipated, but she still hesitated with quite how to reply. How could you explain being a human (or living as one) to someone who had only the experiences of a dragon's life?
"It's hard to explain," she admitted, finally. "Humans percieve things so much differently than dragons do, just by nature. My senses seemed quite dull when I first tried it, and I wondered how humans could live without what we dragons have. But they are social creatures, their senses as a group working together, in a way." Emi sighed, bringing a hand up to brush a bit of hair behind her ear. "Honestly, little one, the only real way to know is to do it yourself."
