Penny blushed modestly when Era praised her storytelling skills. She knew her sister was truly the storyteller but she appreciated the kind words all the same. "Thank you," she said sincerely. "I'm glad you enjoyed it." She did notice a bit of change in the dragon's tone and demeanor, even though the dragon's features were quite different than human ones.
"Where do you get your books?" Penny inquired suddenly, realizing that she hadn't any idea where Era had found the books she had already read. She had always gotten books from the family library, or from passing booksellers on occasion. Where did a dragon find books?
When Era asked for more stories, Penny shifted slightly. "I do know more stories," she replied, "though, I don't know magic, I'm afraid. I would love it if you showed me some, though!" She was being sincere; magic did fascinate her, as evidenced by her interest in the Magic Shop in town.
