"I wouldn't mind going to get them with you later, if you close early that is. But if it's too much trouble, you can send them with Julius, it's no matter," Penny added quickly, not wanting to be any trouble for Matt when he likely had other things to be worried about. "I'm... I'm glad to see you, too!" Penny reiterated, finding herself smiling to hear that Matt had missed her, not realizing she was basically repeating herself.
Penny nodded her head, sighing with evident relief. "Oh, I'm glad she told you! I was worried you would think I had forgot about you or that I was avoiding you but of course I wasn't at all. I wish so much that I could have come and visited," she replied. "But I have had plenty of time to choose out these books, I'm sure you'll like them. I nearly stayed up all night reading this one," she admitted, tapping the cover of the one on top.
"Oh, my, nothing terribly exciting, not by the standards of the stories of course, but for me, well they were quite adventurous. First of all, last time I escaped and tried to come to town, I nearly ran someone over, if you'd believe that," she admitted sheepishly. "It was so embarrassing, particularly when I realized who it was!" she said finding herself enjoying the dramatic build up of the story.
