Let it be know the she had been warned not to go into town that day. If the weather was any indication, thing would not end well. "But it market day! What could possibly go wrong?" she had protested and so she dismissed her maid's worries and concerns aside. If there's one thing you need to know about Angie though, it's that trouble seems to follow the princess wherever she goes, and today was no exception...
Market day is, by default, a crowded day. However, today was particularly crowded day. Everyone was in town getting all their shopping and bartering done before the rain set in. The aromas tantalized her senses, and some more pungent smells dulled them. Nearing the end of the walkway, she had her taste, and knew it wasn't the greatest idea to stay any longer. So, she turned back. Only to be faced with a dense area in the crowd, she knew wasn't there high near a minute ago. But what could she do? It was the only way out.
With a deep breath she - theoretically - dove in. "Excuse me! Pardon me!" and several other variations were uttered, and then swallowed by the masses. There was pushing and shoving indeed. She was so light, she seemed to be effortlessly carried by the crowd until she veered off in a direction she didn't want to go. "No, no, no, no, no!" Hands in front of her she braced for the inevitable fall. And thus, she promptly smashed up against a stall, with a pile of furs cascading neatly to the floor.
