"I'm glad he likes me! I've always liked him, myself," Gen replied with a smile. "I can understand their reasoning, I suppose, but at least Lucky is a good dog. And I think it's good that you've had him." Gen had always had her horse, after all. She liked the idea of animal companionship.
Gen smiled faintly at Penny's blush and her words and she nodded slightly. "That's a good idea." It wasn't exactly what she had meant, but it was perhaps a start! Gen didn't want to push Penny into anything she didn't like. "How are your friends in town?"
Gen smiled again, nodding. "Oh, I'm sure there's plenty you could find if you wanted. I've managed my own curtains and stuff, but I think a few of them are crooked." Jules hadn't complained, though, which she appreciated. Even he knew how impatient she could be with such things, and it was a wonder she'd even managed to do as decently as she had to begin with! "And you'll always be a part of any home I have, love. That's not ever going to change!"
