"I suppose that is a good thing, in a way," Penny mused, grinning. "If something is even remotely good, it's well loved! Imagine how amazing it will be once you get some more practice?" Penny was teasing, but gently, as a loving sister rather than a tormentor would. It was comfortable, the banter between sisters, and Penny had missed it more than she expected to. It was strange the things one missed. After all, Penny and Gen had once shared everything so Penny was hardly used to being apart for so long.
Penny gingerly traced a finger down Dara's soft back, smiling as the kitten stirred only slightly in her sleep, half-heartedly flicking a paw in her direction. "I'll send some bread for you with Julius, at least until you've got it sorted out," Penny promised, pushing a curl behind her ear. "I'm sure you'll sort it out!"
