Thomas' eyes widened- whatever he thought might have been said, it wasn't that. "Does- does she think we-" He gestured between himself and Rena, raising his eyebrows. "Oh, goodness. I mean- no offense, Rena- but you're a sister, not- not that-" Thomas took a deep breath. "No, Rena. Don't avoid me, or Bridget, or the baby. Or Abby," he added, almost as an afterthought.
