Eleanore had enjoyed the time spent with the Brisbois family, but she knew she ought not overstay her welcome- besides, she had come to Frell with the idea in mind to see more than just one manor house! She would be welcomed at court, but first- emboldened, perhaps, by the time spent with the other Brisbois sister, Genevieve- Eleanore had decided to spend some time in the village of Greenville. She hadn't told the Brisbois' of her plan, for fear they would report it back to her father- not that he wouldn't necessarily approve, of course, but- well, wasn't there a fun sort of danger in breaking the rules, or at least thinking you were?
She arrived in town early on Sunday morning, and was surprised to find that the town still seemed very sleepy- though after looking around (she'd stabled her horse at a blacksmith's, temporarily), she found out that there had been a festival the week before, and everyone was recovering from the previous night's closing festivities. Eleanore was sad to have missed it, of course, but she was certain she could find other things to occupy her time. Someone else pointed her in the direction of the inn, which promised a warm breakfast. Seemingly set on her path, Eleanore was distracted a minute later by another figure on the streets- though this one, a woman in a cloak, was obviously in some distress. She seemed to be looking around as if she'd lost something, and Eleanore felt compelled to help. She knew well enough what it felt like to be lost- she might not be able to help this woman, but at least she could try.
"Excuse me," she said, offering a faint nod by way of greeting- a full curtsy would give her away, even if her accent did not, "I can't help but notice you- is there something I could do to help you?"
