Who: Eleanore and Genevieve What: Eleanore finds a surprise in the gardens Where: The Brisbois Home Rating: Low? Status: Threaded, Complete
She had been enjoying her time in Frell so far, even if that time had all been spent at the Brisbois home. The grounds were extensive, and, after the first few days, Eleanore had been left largely to her own devices. She'd spent an entire day in the manor's library, making a list of books that sounded interesting and even secreting a few of them away to her room- though they must have been discovered by a servant, because she found them back in the library on a reading table the next day.
More than the manor itself, however, Eleanore spent her time exploring the gardens. They reminded her of home, though in a sweet and nostalgic way, not one that made her homesick. There was a carved wooden bench in one corner that she had found especially comforting, and it was here that she made her way after an early morning breakfast. Despite promises to herself that she would relax on this trip, Eleanore had found herself waking early, as had been her habit back home- so, rather than force the rest of the household awake for her amusement, she took to the gardens again. It was a nice place to sit and relax, to watch the grounds wake up around her.
