His smile fell, but he cleared his throat and it brightened a bit, "Yes. It is..." Vaan wondered if maybe Gabrielle would like him to write while he was away. "...but I'll be sure to come back and visit from time to time of course! Flying does have its advantages," he chuckled and gave her a lopsided smile.
Vaan caught her blush this time and couldn't help the flush rising in his own cheeks. "Of course you are! I'm glad things are going smoothly," he replied, nodding. He laughed, "Quiet does sound a bit better." Vaan crossed his legs and raised his brows, "Oh, well I suppose so. Though beauty is not always measured according to appearance." This was one thing that confused him about humans. They were always worrying themselves over how the appeared to others. Wasn't intelligence and common sense important as well? If not more...though then again, he didn't completely understand their motives. Beauty did have its advantages.
