He loved a busy pub. Not (as some people might assume) because it meant that he was making money, but more because a busy pub usually meant that there were happy people- at least for the most part. Thomas usually stayed behind the bar on nights like this, finding that it gave him a good vantage of the rest of the pub- and made it easy for his staff to find him, if needed.
Thomas noticed Rena checking in on the cook- dinner was delayed, he'd gathered that much, but it was nothing that an extra ale wouldn't pacify. "Doing alright?" he asked Rena as she stepped out of the kitchen, just in case.
