It seemed surreal to him as his younger brother dragged him out of the nightclub, each step taking him further away from the dark-eyed seductress (he still wasn’t sure if she was just a human or if she was some sort of monster that he was supposed to hunt.) As the cool night air hit him in the face, his ears still ringing in the silence of the alleyway. He could still feel the throbbing beat of the loud music from the club and it seemed as if part of him was still inside wrapped around the mysterious woman.
Dean!
Sam’s shout fell on deaf ears as he started to pull himself away and towards her. And as if he had called her and she had answered, his mysterious woman (or demon) appeared in front of them. Much later, when he wasn’t feeling as intoxicated, he’d realize how she did it, but at that precise moment is seemed like some sort of dark magic to him.
His brother warily turned to face her, a gun already in his hand as he moved forwards towards her.
Easy there cowboy.
He wasn’t sure who she had directed that statement to as he fell to his knees, unconcerned about the filth in the alleyway that had obviously been the place of several illicit trysts. All sound and colour seemed to drain away as the scene he was an actor in played out. Part of him seemed distant from the scene as if he was observing it instead of participating.
What have you done to my brother?
Nothing.
Yeah right.
So I take it he isn’t always this fucking bizarre?
She pulled out a stake seemingly from thin air before looking in the shadows all the while Sam kept the gun trained on her.
