Admittedly, this isn't the first time I've woken up in the middle of a frozen wilderness with no memory of how I got there. It is, however, the first time I've woken up in such a situation fully clothed and on a train.

Anyone want to tell me where I am?

Not so good, there was a something that looked like a buttercup in the baggage car and now my skin's turned kinda butter-yellow.

I don't know about all of you, but I am loving China. Literally! It'll be a shame to leave.

Me’n Claudia rigged you folks up some ‘trigger cards’. Only got a half dozen so far, but anything with a magnetic stripe’ll do, so if you got a card you ain’t usin’ send it our way.

All you gotta do is use one of ‘em at any atm in the city, follow the screen prompts the card’ll bring up for ya using the keypad and you’re laughin’. - I’ll be hangin’ back in the front Kitchen if you're lookin' to shop. Be sure let Claudia or me know if it does somethin' wacky.

Don’t fret we ain’t stealin’ no old folks life savin’s or such, this don't take money from any account -- just hackin’ the machines with a bug to pony up, so’s we can stock up and go on eatin’ for however long the train keeps on running and bringin' in more folk needin' to eat along for the ride.

I've heard that you guys are short staffed and where I wasn't a people doctor, I'm happy to help where I can. I was a vet back in my world, but I can do minor things for people so I'm happy to fill in when needed considering it gives me something to do. I figured I would toss out my ability to help out.

If you haven't seen yet, it appears Dr. Watson and Mr. Holmes have been sent back. At least they went back together

I guess it's kind of hard to miss the fact we have a sudden rush of babies present. We're setting up places for them in the infirmary, for anyone who doesn't feel equipped to take care of them. Or who doesn't want that responsibility.

Do we have any idea about how many there are? I've seen several posts about them, but don't actually have a solid count.

And I think it goes without saying that anyone who does know anything about babies is more than welcome to help out. Dr. Snowden is a pediatrician, so there's that favor, and I'm sure he'd be more than willing to answer your questions.

In case anyone's wondering why the big empty treasure chest from the baggage car is now in the infirmary ... I got ambitious today. I started a filing system since we need to keep track of the blood donors and the frequency with which they are donating, as well as any other allergies. For lack of a large enough space to store the potential files, I brought the chest in to use as a file cabinet until we can acquire something more appropriate.

There's a hundred or so copies of a basic information form in the desk drawer. Hand-written, but Lily and Jaime made copies of it and they assure me the writing will stick. I guess we'll see

If anyone has suggestions for improvements or changes, you're more than welcome to. I'm sure we all have different methods of preference as far as record-keeping goes, and I'm willing to reorganize. It isn't as though there's much else to do right now. I just thought it was in the general best interest to try to establish some sort of system, all things considered.

So, that was a very unpleasant few days. I'm happy to report I have my memories back.

What's our official stance on the blood donation situation? Or do we have one? I don't object to the idea of having a blood supply on hand, but I'm not interested in tangling with vampire politics. Is anyone a little closer to the situation with a more solid take on it? I haven't read all of the back and forth.

Is this how...okay, hi! Uhm, I guess this means that I don't have to try and type anymore which is great because I'm really bad at typing. And I can make it read me your things which is also great! So! Great!

Anyway. Mr. Cutler asked if we wanted to donate blood and I originally signed up to, because I want to help. But then, that Mitchell guy said it was actually wrong? And then Mr. Cutler said some really upsetting things, and I don't know if Mitchell actually did them and that's not what I'm arguing-

What I want to know is if it is still safe or wanted for people to donate blood. Because it is safe, and it will help, I guess, unless Mitchell is right and it hurts them because of their addiction, but there are vampires who need the blood, right?

So I guess I'm asking if we're still having a blood drive thing. And I wanted to talk to a doctor about it, just to make sure that it is safe and it won't be hurting someone.

The good thing about typing was that I didn't talk so much, haha. Uhm, I guess just let me know on this post about it?

I don't really know how to say this
I thought I should let someone know that when the train departs, Sherlock and I will not be getting back on board. Or not voluntarily, at least Yes, we've thought long and hard about it, and it certainly hasn't been an easy decision to make, but one that seems to be in our best interests.

I'm only saying this because, well for a start I don't want to worry anyone, but more than that - I've purchased a great deal of equipment for the infirmary and I do still want you all to have it. If someone would be willing to see that it gets on board, I'll be happy to drop it all off to you.

And if anyone wanted to come and say goodbyes then I don't do too well with goodbye but I know I also promised a first aid course - if anyone was still interested, I can certainly do a quick lesson tomorrow if it suits.
