Characters: Maryanne and Daryl
When: Early Morning, during the Candy Plot.
Location: Their room.
Warnings/Rating: Fluff... Language maybe, nakedness definitely, they're like a pair of rabbits so if I don't put in the sex warning it'll happen anyway.
Summary: Maryanne wants to spend their tickets.
Status: Closed, on going

It was early, she knew it was early, but she wanted as much sunlight as this place would let them have. This was the first shot they'd had to leave the train, while it was in motion, to get off together. It didn't take a genius to figure out what the tickets were for. The tokens that had plunked out only sealed that knowledge, the night before.

Still, it didn't mean she couldn't give herself a moment or two to watch him sleep. And maybe that was a little weird. But hadn't they settled that she was strange? Besides it was only a minute or two.

Raising up on her arms Maryanne started at his chin, placing delicate little kisses meant to cause a stirring. One that woke him up, not... started his engines. Or that was her intent. She ended with a little lingering kiss to his lips.

Daryl was a light sleeper, the slightest movement or sound woke him. He stirred at the first kiss, waking slowly. His hands moved first, drawn up to caress her back and shoulders as she continued to kiss him. His eyes opened and he smiled, moaned a little moan of pleasure and approval.

"I could get used to waking up like this," he murmured. It was definitely preferable to screams and the threat of a zombie attack. So far, the train had been blessedly zombie free, and with each day that passed the memory of walkers faded just a little more into the back of his mind.

A little chuckle rumbled in her chest. "Well, I suppose I had better do it more often." It ranked up there with the better ways to wake a person up, in her book anyway. The worst being a bucket of ice water. Not that Maryanne would ever go that route with him. No, Daryl only deserved the best, and while she could give it, she would.

"But I have to admit waking you up like that, this morning, has motive behind it. What would you say if I had a way to get us both off the train?" She waggled her eyebrows a little. A bit of childish delight dancing in her eyes at the prospect of playing in the snow with him. Mostly because she'd only seen it a handful of times, so far in her life time. And most of them had been while she was away at school, in Salem New York. And getting off the train for the day... Well it would put an end to feeling caged up. Something Maryanne didn't take to well to.

"Oh? You have a way, do you?" Daryl asked, his eyes shining with amusement. Everyone knew there was no way off the train, except when the train decided to lock everyone out. But that was different. For a while now, no one had been able to get off the train whenever they wanted.

"I'd like to hear more about this way of yours," Daryl ran a finger along the length of Maryanne's arm. There might have been a vague taunt in his voice, but mostly he was just enjoying the moment and waking up to Maryanne looking so smug and satisfied.

"It's actually very... Weird. And you know me, if I say it's weird that means it has to be very strange." She confessed. Maryanne stretched over him, having purposely placed the coins on his bedside table because she was an imp, and snagged them.

Holding them up for his inspection, the 'I wish' inscription facing him. "I've tried wishing for a few random things. A few... Not so random. And nothing came of the wishes. I thought maybe if I wished to..." She nodded toward the outside not wanting to say the words because, one she was naked, and two she didn't want to go just yet. "I'd go, but if that's how it worked I didn't want to go without you. So, what do you say?" She would ask if it was too weird. If he didn't want to risk something the train handed her. But... Instead she simply settled against him.

"You wished to go outside, and the train gave you coins?" Daryl narrowed his eyes. Well, that was odd. But the train, by definition, was odd, so he wasn't going to dismiss the notion out of hand.

He took one of the coins from her. He shifted, sat up enough to inspect the coin. "And it gave you two coins? So I could go with you." The last was a statement, rather than a question.

Daryl wasn't sure he trusted the train, no one in their right mind would. But he thought maybe it was worth the risk, to see Maryanne happy, where she could run and stretch her legs.

"Oh no, I put my hand on that that new gadget thing in the observation car and it spit out four tickets. Then I put one back in and it spit out a coin. Then I wished." She shrugged. "I put the second ticket in figuring what the hell, if it did what I want it to do I wanted two. If it didn't work it wouldn't hurt anything." Though she did have her hopes up that it would work. There was a bit of a desperate need to get off the train.

"And I figure I got into a bit of trouble the last time I got off the train while it was moving. And you seem to keep me out of trouble." To an extent, until someone threatened what was hers. "I also went through the stuff in the back and got you something warm to wear." Because she knew it was colder out than what it felt like to her.

"Well, all right then." Daryl couldn't argue with that. He smiled, instead. He felt no inclination to argue, anyway. He and Maryanne rarely argued.

"So that's it? The machine gave you tickets, and with these tickets we can get off the train? While it's moving?" He narrowed his eyes. How could that possibly work? Maybe it was one of those things you weren't supposed to question, like how any of them got to the train at all. There was some greater magic at work, and Daryl didn't believe in magic enough to try and think it through.

He'd rather drag a finger up Maryanne's arm, and lose his hand in her hair.

Maryanne nodded enough to bounce them both, a little, on the bed. "That's the theory anyway. I wanna try it before you do, to be sure." And to make sure where ever the train landed them didn't have any predatorial creatures around. She was sure she wouldn't be able to live with herself if something happened to him because of something she suggested. "And if it works I'll give the other two tickets to the kids." Let them get out and play for a little while.

A shiver coursed down her spine as he drug his fingers up her arm. That childish sparkle in her eye dissolving to something far more adult, as his hand slipped into her hair. It seemed that, wherever he was concerned, she was one big on button. "You know, that magic you weave might make it hard for me to tell if it's between December first and March first when we shift realities." Not that it was a complaint, more like a complement. Her tone going from bubbly and excited to low and lusty just that quick.
