Please update your Friends Lists as we have lost one, feel free to talk to the mods if you have any questions regarding this, no drama involved.
This is also your last chance to get your characters involved in the upcoming plot, so if you want in, poke David. I've done my best to incorporate everyone who expressed interest and tried to fill in wants. Should lead to some fun scenes, will contact each of you to OK it all before this plot rolls forward. The current list of participants include:
Haemat, Phantom, Pyro, Scourge (Kris want to talk to you about this plz~!), Storm, Technica and Wild Child.
Also, please sound off if your would be interested in 'training sessions' where 2 to 3 special ops characters wold be paired up to write. Obviously only open to those in Special Ops, but don't want to organize it all if no one wants to do it. This will include teammate banter, blowing things up, showing off and the occasional injury.
Special ops would love a healer in their ranks, so if you know anyone who plays or would consider playing a mutant with healing powers, please point them this way!

Quick update, Jamie and his mun have left the game, so please update your Friends Lists. Just to clarify, we had two Crys', one of which was going by Zandi to avoid confusion. Zandi is officially changed back to Crys as that is the name she is used to.
Mod!David is finally on the mend, though after having lost almost an entire week is rather behind. Expect to see him back up to speed Sunday/Monday. Both mods will be away almost all of Saturday, so if you have questions/concerns/issues/ideas, please use the email or the Drop Box, we'll get back to you ASAP. We also want to let you know that both mods are equal mods of the game, David and Lee both equally talk about and come to agreements about things before solid decisions are made, so please don't feel like you need to talk to one over the other.
Also just a reminder, please don't forget to tag your threads, as this is how we keep track of activity! We are not penalizing anyone from before this point because it was not specifically spelled out, but please be aware that while personal journal entries are welcome, they do not count towards character activity in this game.
We will be working on more plot which will hopefully not be so rushed here shortly. If you have any ideas please send them our way! This can be anything from an over all idea to something you would like to see your character do/have happen to them.

Hey gang, we have a new person to the game. Meet Ben, he is bringing us a little known canon Neophyte who has re-named himself Phantom. So feel free to call him Phantom, or just Simon. He is part of the Special Ops and can be found at simon_hall.
Please send him a welcome, update your Friends Lists and be sure to read the email that was sent out about the plot that got glossed over. Sorry about that being so glossed/rush, we had some circumstances that required it. If you have any questions, please direct them to Lee as this is her brainchild.

Just letting everyone know my internet time will be slightly lessened over the next week or so as I'll be going on vacation. I'll still have my computer and internet access where I'm going, so I'll still be around a bit, and my internet time should be back to normal by next Friday.

Hey all. How's it going? I'm Leon, and I'm here to introduce Wade Wilson, also known as Deadpool and played by Ryan Reynolds.
Describing 'Pool in the simplest of forms is a chore in and of itself, so I'll try to keep this as short as humanly possible. The first and foremost thing that one should remember when interacting with Deadpool is that it's like interacting with a chainsaw permanently set to "on" due to some freak accident. Where he's goofy and comical and probably easy to laugh at, it's also wise to remember he is not generally the nicest of folk. He's prone to stabbing and slashing and scarring and being curious about people's insides. He's psychotic and there's only just enough sanity inside of him to prevent him from going all out and killing everyone.
Of course, he has his moments, and he is easy to win over... especially if one tosses Bea Arthur or the Olson Twins in as a bargaining chip. (Do the Olson Twins exist, though? That is the question. Either way, they can be used.) He can be sweet (or as close to sweet as he can get anyway), and he is capable of being moderately warm and fuzzy. Whatever friends he may have or obtain in the future, he will undoubtedly care deeply for them and go to the ends of the world to help them out. Or to get Taco Bell. Whichever, really.
Anyway, TL;DR version: he's not Origins!Deadpool and he will eff your ess up if and when he feels like it. For plot-shaped things, you can reach me on AIM at space objects or eMail me at villanize[at]gmail[dot]com and we can work shiz out. I'm totes up for almost anything, no matter how cracky it sounds! Except romance lines. Because Deadpool doesn't play well with others, much less girls who want down his pants because he looks like Ryan Reynolds.

EDIT Oh, and just as a warning. It's canon fact that Deadpool breaks the fourth wall on multiple if not regular occasions. He can and he will refer to your characters by their PBs, make references to your PB's IRL professions, and even go so far as to ask for autographs. For example, he's probably going to sing 30 Seconds to Mars lyrics to Jamie Bellafonte one of these days, or refer to Pyro as "that one guy from Twilight."

Hey guys,
Quick introduction because my internet access is limited until my laptop adapter arrives!
My name is Lex, and this is Madison Taylor/Reversal. Madison's powers allow her to heal and fix things by willing damage to be undone, and she can also make potent barriers. No combative powers, though, so any fighting she does has to be done the good old fashioned way. Not that she's likely to fight much. She's a young doctor, and somewhat of a pacifist.
Telepaths and people who she's been friends with for years will likely be aware of the fact that she has multiple personalities (telepaths through hearing more than one mental voice, old friends through meeting the other personalities). There's more on what each of the personalities are like in her profile.
Madison is tolerant of humans, having a fairly loving adoptive family. She does, however, recognize that it's a good idea for mutants to have their own community where they can live without persecution. She just doesn't think that mutants and humans have to be at war.
She's overall shy and sweet, responsible and organized, though she is prone to anxiety.
Looking forward to plotting with all of you! Friends, frequent patients that prompt an inner "...again?" reaction, people she's at odds with, etc. Let me know. :D

We would like to declare the game officially open!
Quick round of introductions for all:
David and Lee are going to be your mods for this game, David is playing Wild Child (feralatheart) and Nightcrawler (seiltanzer) and Lee is bringing us Storm (hurricaneborn) and NPC'ing Mr Sinister (sinister_doctor).
We also have Erin playing Pyro (arsonforanarchy), Crys with her OC Celeritas, better known as Jamie (aimoboros), Lex has joined us with another OC, Reversal (total_reversal) who will be oh so helpful as a doctor, and last but not least, Crys2/Zandi with her OC, Nocnitsa (nocnitsa)!

Hi, this is the other Crys! I'm new... and I don't know the other half of you yet. I'd like to get to know you, though!
So, to introduce Jamie (because if I don't, he might try to kick a hole in my brain). Jamie Bellafonte is an OC, and he's got a dual power of enhanced senses and speed. He's Greek-Italian, hates Italy, and is way too knife-happy for his own good. He's highly twitchy. :| His codename is Celeritas, but he much prefers to be called Jamie or Jay. He's on a Special Team, and you can find his full biography here, because I'm much too lazy to give in and talk about him more.

Hello, hello. David said I should do an ooc introduction post, though some of you already know me. I'm Crys, well for this game, maybe Crys2, you guys can call me Zandi for ease of separation. It's what all of my WoW friends call me (and even sometimes my real life friends, crazy gamers).
This is Keaira, she's not really part of Magneto's in-crowd, but lives not too far away from the action. She's an onieromancer, which means that she can control other people's dreams and sometimes sees future portends in uncontrolled dreams, hers or someone she's currently touching. She was raised to think that mutants are something of a 'noble' class and non-mutants are more of a peasant class. One should be kind to one's lessers unless they step out of line.
