TITLE: Complete Control TIME/DAY: June 16th; Evening TAKES PLACE AFTER: Everything So Far CHARACTERS: Charlie & Dalton WARNINGS: Alien Possession YAY!!
Charlie was walking back to her flat, something she rarely did, after her late shift at the office. Most nights she made into a late shift, but the last few days, she'd actually been doing something of importance, at least in terms of Torchwood. She'd been doing some research into things, some strange sightings and events. It was a bit of a side project, like most of the group had, but there wasn't much of a basis for it. It was just something Dane had said a long time ago that made her connect an article to it.
Looking over her shoulder as she got that feeling in her gut that she was being watched, Charlie tried her best to look intimidating. She did it quite well; years of practice. She pulled her overcoat a bit closer to her person. Her notebook was in the inside pocket, safe. It was a chilly night for being so warm the past few days, but Charlie didn't think anything of it. After all, global warming, disappearing bees, a cold night in the middle of a warm week wasn't that big of a deal anyway.
A skittering made Charlie stop abruptly. Working for Torchwood plus being a fan of the Alien movies means skittering is not something to be taken lightly. Her hand moved the coat so she could get to her firearm. There was no way she was going to get attacked, not tonight. Hearing the skittering again, Charlie rounded a corner, pistol out and ready to fire. Taking a few cautious steps, she hesitantly called out, "Is there something there?" No response. She took another step, only to stop and see a cat running down the alley dragging a plastic bag with it.
Letting out a sigh, Charlie holstered her weapon, shaking her head at her paranoia. If anyone she knew had been around, they would have laughed at her. She turned around, pulling her jacket over her again as she started walking towards her flat again. Making her way up the stairs, she nodded at one of her neighbors before entering the apartment. Flopping down on the couch, she took her jacket off and put her gun on the table. She pulled the notebook out, flipping through a few of the pages. A leaf of paper fell out and floated down under the couch.
Cursing, Charlie went to pick it up when she heard something clang in the kitchen. She stood up, taking the gun off the table as she made her way into the kitchen. She poked her head in, but everything went black.

Asher stood over Charlie, smirking as his eyes ran over her features. She was such a beautiful woman, and tough as hell. He remembered the first time he saw her, back when she was with Dane. Shame he was with her, Asher would have enjoyed taking her then. She looked so pretty with her hair long. He let out a sigh and picked her up, careful not to hurt her in any way. Charlie was his little obsession, but he'd been gone for such a long time that he had almost forgotten how captivating she was to him.
He let out a quiet sigh as he rested her on the couch. If she hadn't always been so tenacious, he wouldn't have had to sedate her the way he did. Running a hand over her face, he smiled and looked over towards the container he had brought. Nodding to himself, he gave Charlie a kiss on her forehead before he stood up and went over to the container. "It's time."

Charlie's eyelids blinked open as the sun rose over the horizon. She was freezing and she didn't know why. Sitting up, her hand went immediately to her head. She had a massive headache and she was confused; one, because she hadn't been drinking so she shouldn't have a hangover, two, because she was outside, and three, because she had blood on her hands. She stood up, looking down at herself to discover there was a lot more on her. She looked around to see where she was and noticed she was just outside of the Hub. She quickly made her way inside and to her office and shut the clear door behind her. What the hell had happened?
