Hey Everyone :)

My amazing partner in business and in life who would never make me do anything I didn't want to do because I'm so good at compromise had the brilliant idea of throwing a putting together an Open Mic night this evening at the store.

It's so great that he absolutely planned this in advance and isn't asking me to phone in a half-dozen favours to our suppliers to get wine and cheese for an event he certainly didn't pitch to me literally over this morning's breakfast scones. So fun.

As a thank you for staying at the Rosebud Motel, please show us your room key to get two complimentary drink tickets (Drinking age is 19, so if you aren't 19, you'll get to sample our new non-alcoholic sparkling cider)

It would be really great if you could all stop in, shop in, or otherwise show your support for local businesses as a thank you and an apology for all of the weird things inflicted on us this week. I'm not going to say attendance isn't mandatory or anything, just that not attending wouldn't be a good look for anyone.

I don't mean to pass any judgments on this hypothetical young woman based solely on her name, but I notice that the motel is unusually full. Did anyone happen to rent out some of these rooms by the hour again? It's an honest mistake that's happened to the best of us.

So I promised I'd come through on a party for all you haunted house people + other randos, and here I am. Announcing that there will be a little Harvestfest going on in Mutt's barn tonight, after the modern art show or whatever it is no one let David in there in gallerist mode, he'll lose his shit. Free food, moonshine, actual legit wine, water and soda for those practicing teetotalism, and mingling! Don't get sloppy and wait til you get back to your rooms for drunken trips to pound town, though I guess if you're desperate a dark corner works.

So, I'm little sad I didn't find an ice rink. It's Canada! (And I say this knowing Canada had some of the best skaters out there. Even JJ was good.)

UM. If you haven't tried Tim Hortons, I recommend it. Coffee tastes great and they have delicious food besides donuts. But, I can't just eat that the whole time. I guess it's better than canned soup.

Anyone know if we can cook around here? There's a few people I know who would love to try ramen.

I'd take a moment to introduce myself, but I've never had much of a taste for performative modesty and of course, you already know me, Television's Moira Rose, from my tenure on the serial daytime drama Sunrise Bay as the capricious and cunning Vivien Blake. But there's no need to be intimidated! If there is anything you need, I'll be sure to have my husband Johnny Rose help you with it right away.
